A musical being performed by the water? No. No water involved at all in both events (except, perhaps, for the fact that several rivers are crossing the territory of both cities, but this is just a matter of fact and entirely irrelevant for the puzzle) |

Is any particular piece by Telemann relevant? If so, was it written in 1735? |

Is any particular piece by Telemann relevant? There are people in this forum who would answer "yope" or even "no" here .. because it's not a particular piece but a famous collection of pieces. If so, was it written in 1735? The collection was published in 1733, though several of the pieces had been written much earlier. |

REFOCUS - An der Alster, an der Elbe, an der Bill It worked for the second time. In 1733 the composer Georg Telemann published a collection of yet unpublished pieces under the title "Tafelmusik" (table music). This is event 1. There is some idea behind event 1 that has been re-used in an event 2 in this year. Event 2 involved a smaller group of people which can be refered to by a name, and a larger group. The larger group determined by a common property or interest, and consists of two subgroups (defined by their respective common interests). The smaller one of these subgroups is not satisfied with the event. Event 2 took place in a German town, not Hamburg, but also on three rivers. To find out: What is the idea that was being re-used? Who are the groups in event 2? Where (in what sort of location) did event 2 take place?
