The stain: paint? wine? lipstick? rouge? food? sauce? ink? punch? fruit? wax? a drink? cake frosting? something else?
Did someone else deliberately mark his shirt?
Accidentally mark his shirt? did he mark his own shirt?
The size of the stain: under an inch (2 cm)? under 5cm? about the size of a palmprint? about the size of a handprint including fingers? larger than a handprint? Did it cover half the area of his back? more than half?
The shape of the stain: round? a streak? roughly square? roughly rectangular? an amoeboid blotch? a handprint?
Did he: lean against something? brush against somethng? get hit by something? |

I think we should really understand what was the sport...
Team sport? If so, how many component per team?
Is it a sport where players play alone one by one, or all together?
Beside the suit, any special objects are needed to play? If so, how many? 1, 2, 3, etc.?
Is there a fixed time for a match? Actually is there a match at all? Time control of any kind?
Is this sport part of the olympics? |

Was he playing the sport at the event? Or was it more of a party-type thing, but the players were expected to wear their uniforms?
Besides the shirt, does the uniform include:
particular underwear?
particular shoes?
particular socks?
long pants? shorts? plus-fours or knickers?
a belt?
a vest or vest-like item?
a hat?
a mask?
padding?
gloves?
Is the shirt different in design from a typical shirt not used in this sport? (like a fencing jacket, with the long point in front, and the strap between the legs to hold it in place?)
Is the reason that no-one noticed the stain at the event because the shirt was covered up? because the stain was not out of the ordinary? (the way that a red mark on a paintball player's shirt wouldn't be out of the ordinary?) |

plus-fours = golfing knickers (allegedly named that because they were cut four inches longer than standard knickerbockers to allow the golfer's knee to twist more easily, without having the bottom band of the knickers bind.)
Can this sport also be played outdoors?

The man was a Tae Kwon Do practitioner, and the event was a demonstration or a meet. He had just recently advanced a rank and received his red belt. In the course of the event, his gi and belt got damp from sweat, and some of the dye from the new belt rubbed onto the back of his gi jacket. It left a streak at the waist, which was covered first by the belt itself, and then by the man's topcoat, so no-one saw it until he undressed at home.
How's that? |
