Before the 10 minutes and 16 seconds... do I start relevantly doing... Something voluntary? Involuntary? (ie. Breathing, heart beat, etc.) Something physical? Mental? Am I moving something not part of my body? Some part of my body? Is this something I do on a regular basis? Making noise? Do I stop doing any of those things? At the start of the 10 minutes and 16 seconds... do I start relevantly doing... Something voluntary? Involuntary? (ie. Breathing, heart beat, etc.) Something physical? Mental? Am I moving something not part of my body? Some part of my body? Is this something I do on a regular basis? Making noise? Do I stop doing any of those things? Do I continue? At the end of the 10 minutes and 16 seconds... do I start relevantly doing... Something voluntary? Involuntary? (ie. Breathing, heart beat, etc.) Something physical? Mental? Am I moving something not part of my body? Some part of my body? Is this something I do on a regular basis? Making noise? Do I stop doing any of those things? Do I continue? Relevant what time it is? What day? What month? Season? Year? Am I travelling to some specific destonation? Am I on the ground? In the water? In a vehicle? In the air? In outer space? On the moon? |

Am I moving something not part of my body? Some part of my body? Is this something I do on a regular basis? Making noise? Do I stop doing any of those things? You are doing one primarily relevant thing, but in the course of trying to do this one primarily relevant thing, you may be doing anyone of the above. See answer above At the end of the 10 minutes and 16 seconds... do I start relevantly doing... Something voluntary? Involuntary? (ie. Breathing, heart beat, etc.) Something physical? Mental? Am I moving something not part of my body? Some part of my body? Is this something I do on a regular basis? Making noise? Do I stop doing any of those things? Do I continue? See answer above Relevant what time it is? What day? What month? Season? Year? Time is not relevant Am I travelling to some specific destonation? YOPE -- good question! Explore this yope, and this puzzle practically solves itself... Am I on the ground? In the water? In a vehicle? In the air? In outer space? On the moon? Depending on the exact situation, you could be at any of these locations (thought the last two do seem unlikely...still, if you are an astronaut by profession...) |

Am I traveling? To something/somewhere? Away from something/somewhere? In a specific direction? In a cardinal direction? North? East? South? West? Is the location I leave relevent? My destination? Am I going to some institution? A hospital? Prison? Police station? University? College? School? Library? Mueseum? A buesiness? An office? A department store? A grocery store? Some other store? Home? To someone else's house/apartment/mansion? To a specific building? Am I looking for something? Water? Do I know where I'm going? |

Am I traveling? Yes To something/somewhere? Yes Away from something/somewhere? No In a specific direction? In a cardinal direction? North? East? South? West? Direction of travel is irrelevant. Is the location I leave relevent? No My destination? No Am I going to some institution? A hospital? Prison? Police station? University? College? School? Library? Mueseum? A buesiness? An office? A department store? A grocery store? Some other store? Home? To someone else's house/apartment/mansion? To a specific building? It could possibly be to any of these places you just mentioned... Am I looking for something? No Water? No, nothing like this...but good thinking. Do I know where I'm going? Yes |

10 minutes, 16 seconds = angle measure rather than chronological measurement? |

10 minutes, 16 seconds = angle measure rather than chronological measurement? No -- it is a chronological measurement. But good thinking. |

So I'm going somewhere, but it doesn't matter where... Is there some specific condition my destination must meet? Or is any point on the globe acceptable? Is it in a city? Town? Village? Plains? Mountains? Forest? Desert? Tundra? Relevant what continent? Europe? Asia? Africa? Austrilasia? North America? South America? Antarctica? Is the route I'm taking relevent? The means of travel? Am I crossing a border? Customs relevent? |

Am i walking? Running? Am i using a car, a motorbike, a bycicle, any other means? Did i start going to this place 10 min 16 sec ago, or I was already going there before? Do I arrive there after 10 min 16 sec? Or I keep on going there even after? |

Village? Plains? Mountains? Forest? Desert? Tundra? Relevant what continent? No Europe? Asia? Africa? Austrilasia? North America? South America? Antarctica? Is the route I'm taking relevent? Only relevant in the sense that it'll take up at least 10 minutes, 16 seconds of your time. The means of travel? See previous answer. Am I crossing a border? Irrelevant Customs relevent? What do you mean by customs? Doctapeppa WHAT DO YOU MEAN OK YOU COW? Moooooooo.... Oops, I meant: If I told you, then the point of this puzzle is moot. So I can't give away the puzzle now, right? Mattiel Am i walking? Running? Am i using a car, a motorbike, a bycicle, any other means? Could be any of these Did i start going to this place 10 min 16 sec ago, or I was already going there before? Could be either one of these, though I'd have to say that chances very good that you were "already going there before. Do I arrive there after 10 min 16 sec? Heh...tough to answer. The best non-misleading answer is "Very hopefully yes!" Or I keep on going there even after? Well, if you aren't "there" after 10 min 16 secs, presumably you are still trying to get there in whatever time it turns out to be. |

Doctapeppa If it was after 10 minutes, 16 seconds, would I die? No -- at least not literally.... Lzeiters "I've still got 10 mins, 16 seconds until ________ closes. I can still make it." No, not quite. But you are close to the right forest. Just try to laterally reverse your thinking above... |

"I've had 10 minutes and 16 seconds--that should be long enough." ? Not really, but the idea "long enough" is certainly relevant to the puzzle. |

Is 10:16 long enough to do what I need to do? do what I am trying to do? do what I want to do? get where I'm trying to go? spend trying to do something? (IOW, if I haven't succeeded? finished? in 10:16 I might as well quit?) |

Lzeiters Am I trying to get away from something undesirable? something that could cause injury? death? No...in fact, in a way it's quite contrary... Rabrab Is 10:16 long enough to There is actually an FA here, but... do what I need to do? do what I am trying to do? do what I want to do? get where I'm trying to go? ...factoring in the FA, this is by far the closest. spend trying to do something? (IOW, if I haven't succeeded? finished? in 10:16 I might as well quit?) |

Hmmm, another FA. They're popping up with surprising regularity for me. I'm getting sloppy... Is 10:16 all the longer I am allowed? if yes, is it a time limit implicit in what I'm trying to do (which is get somewhere)? is it an arbitrary time limit that has been imposed by some outside judge? ruling body? organization? rule? (I'm thinking of things like the Ironman Triathlon--if you haven't finished the swimming and the biking sections by a certain time, you aren't even allowed to start the marathon. Anything like that?) |
