so she is trying to hide her illness from a group of people? or more than one group of people? do these people have something in common?

would it be more accurate to say that she wants to give the impression that she is healthy?

do we need to know exactly why she wants to hide her illness? or is it enough to say that she does want to? and we should be concentrating on how she does it?

if she is though slimy - is it because of something she says? something she does? something she doesn't say? something she doesn't do?
does she undertake a range of different things to appear slimy? or does she do this just in one particular way?

is her illness apparent to others visually? does she look ill? does she sound ill?

is she trying to hide a 'giveaway' sign of her illness? such as giving herself insulin? is she diabetic?
should we be finding out exactly what illness she has?
is it something which would change her status in law? or stop her from doing something she might want to by law? is driving relevant?

Does this have to do with hiding weaknesses?
Is she in a field that involves negotiating or legal cases?
If her competitors or counterparts knew of her weakness, would they take advantage of it?
Would knowing her buisness help?

Does her illness affect her behavior?
Is it a very common illness?
Should we find out more about the people this directly affects/involves?

Is it something like she gets very tired, so she wants to pretend that she is drinking a lot or doing drugs to explain the tiredness?

Is it something like she gets very tired, so she wants t?C??C??$P is drinking a lot or doing drugs to explain the tiredness? no. As the forum's official knee-jerk liberal,I don't consider drinking or taking drugs slimy & dishonorable, except in special circiumstances, like driving under the influence.

she wants to pretend that she is slimy and dishonourable... is this some illness that causes her to produce massive amounts of mucus, and we are supposed to take the word 'slimy' in the statement literally?

or perhaps not.... Does she take medication for her illness? Relevant? Is the illness one that affects her mentally? Affects her digestive system? breathing? heart? brain? liver? kidneys? bowels? bladder? skin?

Is it at all relevant why she wants to hide her illness?

Is the 'slimy and dishonourable' trait she pretends to have one that even us knee-jerk liberals would consider to be slimy and dishonourable?

She says something and does something to make her appear slimy and dishonourable - is "saying something" what she does? if not, does she say something and do something at the same time? or at different times?
When she says something, are the two-or-more directly-involved people present? does she speak directly to them? make a statement? ask a question? answer a question? is anyone else present?
Are the two-or-more directly-involved people her family?
Is the 'slimy and dishonourable' trait she pretends to have one that only us knee-jerk liberals would consider to be slimy and dishonourable? Is politics relevant?

Is she meeting with the doctor in person? is this the only potential visible sign that she is ill? and is this what she is trying to hide?
Is she meeting with him at her home? at his clinic? in a hospital? somewhere else?

so she has an illness which she wants to keep private? and so she says something which makes her appear bad to achieve this? because if she didn't say it people would know she was ill? or would wonder?

does she say this thing at a particular time? in a particular place? when she is doing something particular?

does she say it if she is seen in the vicinity of the clinic? does she make the statement to give an alternative reason for her being where she is? or going where she is? or coming from somewhere?

the thing she says - might people infer that she is dishonest? disloyal? unethical? unkind? indecent? that she steals? that she hurts someone physically? that she bullies someone? that she is unkind to animals? that she takes credit for something which isn't done by her?
does she seem to be unfair to disabled people? to old people? racist? homophobic?
