The only thing more annoying than one half is two halves. I suspect this one will be relatively quick, so if someone guesses it early don't bother to email. |

By Lynne (Lynne) on Thursday, January 05, 2006 - 08:05 pm: Slugs in your salad? now that's an answer I highly like! Of course, you won't be surprised to hear that it's not the one I was thinking of. |

By Kristoffer Dominique Albeus (Kristoffer) on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 - 02:18 pm: one half of something and two halves of that same thing? that thing relevant? approximately--the same half but twice! And yes very relevent what it was |

By Lewis Zeiters (Lzeiters) on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 - 03:46 pm: meetings relevant? a particular task? no to both I fear. Still, keep guessing-this puzzle probably will be quite quick if it can hold anyone's attention. |

Two halves of the same thing? Two halves are the same? I.e. You have half a map and another half that's the exact same half? Is the "thing" that we have either one half or two halves of... a thing? a person? animal? vegetable? mineral? paper? wood? Two halves of a... dead baby? kitten? chicken liver dinner? |

By Kristoffer Dominique Albeus (Kristoffer) on Wednesday, January 11, 2006 - 02:30 pm: how about three of those halves, is it more annoying? yes! what if there's none, is it less annoying? yes, but this isn't as clear cut By Kapil Kapur (Dinkie) on Wednesday, January 11, 2006 - 03:04 pm: two part time jobs ? not this Hint: I think you all are being a bit mislead by the title. It's mildly relevant what I do and you can figure that out or check where I mentioned it in a previous puzzle, but most of this would annoy any of you and could probably happen at your work. |

In the meantime I recommend my other puzzle. It's definitely harder and I rather think it's a good deal more entertaining too. |

*****SPOILER***** At work I recieve a lot of assignments in from people but I really don't like it when they send in a partial assignment. Not only is their piece not useful yet but the attachement is still huge enough to tax my poor computer. Things became even dumber when a couple of weeks ago my boss was CCd on a partial assignment and then she forwarded the email with attachment right back to me! The only thing more foolish than the first half was the second. |
