Bedelia has a list of the following items:peacock feathers, Persian cats, Bartlett pears, Mississippi, capital punishment. What it is the organizing principle of the list?

is B's age relevant? is she a child? an adult?
relevant where she lives? US? in town? in the country?

is it a list of things to do? things to collect? things to buy? things to make?

is the list to remind her to do something? to go somewhere?

is her education relevant? does the list remind her of another list she needs to remember? like a mnemonic?

are there other things that could be on the list? could there be another kind of feather? another kind of cat? another kind of pear?

will she be adding to the list? taking things off?

would a pictiroal list of the same things work as well? are the actual words necessary?

do the items on the list make her think of something else?

is it relevant how long it took to compile the list? seconds? minutes? days? months? years?

will the list change with time?

does anyone else know of the list? relevant?

will she be giving it to someone else? has she got it from someone else?

is it relevant what the list is written on? paper? relevant how it is written?

does she keep the list on her person? in her house?

are any of these relevant about B: her gender? her political persuasion? her hobbies? her pets? her romantic relationships? her family? her place of residence? her health? her religion? her nationality? her academic background? her physical appearance?

Is the organizing principle one in which each item (except for the last) infers the following one? (like 1,2,3,4,5) Or does the order not matter?

wild idea that came to mind immediately(since sadly enough I have one of these in word) list of things that she may one day use for lateral thinking puzzles?

(my current list involves cell phones with annoying songs on them, a two sided penny, and a polygamist; and that just what I came up with since yesterday :))

Cell phones with annoying songs? You mean there's actually someone else out there that thinks it is a bit much to have a phone produce ear-splitting music in places like church, movie theaters, restaurants, and pretty much everywhere else? Technology is great, but what happened to just having a phone ring? I guess this allows lovers of all types of music to share their preferred genre with anyone else within a two-mile radius when they receive a phone call?

I LOVE technology--it's the main compensation for not being able to live in Malory's world--& I think cell phones users are often criticized unfairly, but I'm tired of being constantly subjected to their musical taste (or lack of taste)

************SPOILER **************
Bedelia's list is a list of topics for lateral puzzles she's planning to post. I thought I spoiled this on Saturday, but apparently my final posting didn't go through. That's why I had 4 puzzles on the board when we're allowed only 3. Sorry--unlike the protagonist in one of my current puzzles, I didn't intentionally break the rules)
