By Torgeir Apeland (Abc) on Monday, January 30, 2006 - 12:31 pm: I know next to nothing about the Beatles. Will that make it more difficult for me to solve this? Well actually you've raised a good point, it's not the Beatles as such that are involved. You'll need some general knowledge but you wouldn't particularly need to be a Beatle fan to get this Was John Lennon mentioned in the question? Yes - and it's JL involved rather than the Beatles, sorry In the wrong answer? No In the correct answer? No |

Not having English as my native tongue, I need some clarification... "Inappropriate" can mean at least two things, right? "Not fit for the situation" as in "A fork is an inappropriate utensil for eating soup" as well as "In bad taste, vulgar". "Making a poster of the picture of the school's principal picking his nose, and displaying it at the school's entrance was very inappropriate". Which of these two senses are we talking about here? |

It's bad taste to a certain extent, although not rude or vulgar. What I meant in this situation, was out of all the possible options, this answer was proably the most unlikely. This will become clearer when you find out more about the question |

No, but sort of OTRT Did the question start with/include the words: Who? When? Where? What? Why? How? As I can't remember the exact wording of the question I'm going to decide on the question which I'll answer as if it was from now on. In which case, the answer is none of the above - try another! |

This is not very elegant, but... Is it the line "Imagine there's no heaven," ? Is it the line "It's easy if you try," ? Is it the line "No hell below us," ? Is it the line "Above us only sky," ? Is it the line "Imagine all the people" ? Is it the line "living for today..." ? Is it the line "Imagine there's no countries," ? Is it the line "It isnt hard to do," ? Is it the line "Nothing to kill or die for," ? Is it the line "No religion too," ? Is it the line "Imagine all the people" ? Is it the line "living life in peace..." ? Is it the line "Imagine no possesions," ? Is it the line "I wonder if you can," ? Is it the line "No need for greed or hunger," ? Is it the line "A brotherhood of man," ? Is it the line "Imagine all the people" ? Is it the line "Sharing all the world..." ? Is it the line "You may say Im a dreamer," ? Is it the line "but Im not the only one," ? Is it the line "I hope some day you'll join us," ? Is it the line "And the world will live as one. " ? |

Well done, and thanks for playing ****************** SPOILER ******************

In Norway, we have a very popular cartoon named "Pondus". In one episode, Pondus, the main character, was waiting at the luggage conveyors of an airport, as piece after bruised and smashed-up piece of luggage came out of the hole in the wall. Finally, out of curiosity, Pondus pulls the curtain covering the hole aside, and looks into the luggage handling department on the other side. And, lo and behold, sees luggage handlers smasing suitcases, bags and other items with sledgehammers before letting them pass through to the other side. Pondus' thought in the last frame: "Suspicion confirmed". |
