A woman has bought a new vacuum cleaner. Now she usually does the vacuuming after she has taken a shower. How comes? Type: fictional & rather silly difficulty: should be a quickie For those of you who think they know this: The salesman is called Jürgens (this fact is totally irrelevant for everybody else) |

Is there anyone else involved? Does she do it because she wants to be clean while vacuuming? Because she wants her hair to be wet? Because she vacuums at a different time of day? |

Does the woman have some unusual hairstyle such as a mohican, which is easier to style by vacuum cleaner? Does she only use the vacuum cleaner for her hair? Or does she also use it for the more traditional use? If so, is it relevant that she also cleans up with it? |

does she actually apply the vacuum cleaner nozzle to her hair? And does she then turn the vacuum cleaner on? (or is it on when she applies it to her hair?) Does her hair come into direct contact with the cleaner, or is something else in the way? Does the vacuum cleaner remove moisture from her hair? Does it remove anything else? Does the vacuum cleaner mechanism power anything else? |

One of those vacuum cleaners that attaches to a hairdryer hood?? YES! *** SPOILER *** This is from an old Loriot TV sketch from 1978 where a housewife is being molested by door-to-door-salesmen. One of them is trying to sell her a vacuum cleaner to which a hairdryer hood is attached. He is very eager to point out the benefits of such an invention. The whole thing ends up with the housewife, the vacuum cleaner salesman and the wine salesman getting drunk on the specimens provided by the latter... Thanks to all for playing! Hope to see you around when I post a less silly puzzle! |
