T-Rex was the name of a large pick-up truck in the United States a few years ago (but not so obscure!). This? Rat: metaphor for informant? |

Is T-REX some kind of product name? Is the rat a normal, non-metaphorical rat? Is it real? Or fictional? An image of a rat? A symbol? A personification of a rat? Is the rat tangible? Does it have an extension? Ditto for the T-REX? If so, then how big, approximately, is the rat? less than 10 cm long? less than 1m long? less than 10m long? less than 100m long? less than 1000m long? larger? Ditto for the T-REX. (Perhaps it would be more fitting to ask how tall it is.) Is the time period relevant? Do we need to find out anything special about the 'he' of your problem statement? Are there any further standard boring questions the asking of which would be of benefit for us here...? |

Is space relevant? Astronomy? Space travel? Does this happen on earth? Did this event itself (him seeing the t-rex in the rat's mouth) happen in reality? Or is it part of some piece of fiction? Is the rat a star constellation? Is the rat: larger than: 10000m? 100000m? 10^6 m? 10^9 m? A light year? 1000 light years? A million light years? A billion light years? So, the T-REX is less than 1000m long: what is the lower bound of its size? 500m? 200m? 100m? 50m? 20m? 10m? 5m? 2m? 1m? 50cm? 20cm? 10cm? 1cm? 1mm? smaller? no lower bound at all? |

There was really in reality, sometimes after 1960, an occurence in which a real, tangible, but non-dinosaur, non-animate and 50 - 1,000 m long T-Rex was seen inside the mouth of a real, tangible, 10,000 - 100,000 m large non-image personification of a rat. Correct? Is the rat man-made? Is the T-Rex man-made? (I guess so since T-Rex is yopishly a "product name" here) Is the rat 3-dimensional? Ditto for the T-Rex? Is the T-Rex a personification of a T-Rex? The rat is actually a personification of a rat... Is there something or someone which can be seen as the one who/which is personifying the rat? If so, is it a person? Or a thing? Or another kind of entity? Is "rat" some kind of product name? Is the rat some kind of geological formation? Or biological formation? Or landscape formation in some other sense? Is the T-Rex an image? Are there more "rats" of the same kind? Were there ever? Are there more "T-rexes" of the same kind? Were there ever? |

Is there some natural formation which has a name in the style of "Rat's Mouth"? Or perhaps just kind of like "The Rat"? Or it has the same name as some specific type of rat? Does the "rat" look somewhat like a rat? Is it the natural formation which is "the one which is personifying the rat"? Is there any specific part of a larger natural formation (which would be considered "the rat") which can be considered as the "mouth" of this "rat"? Or is there just a "rat's mouth" but without any extensive other parts which could be considered as "the rest of the rat"? Which of the following materials does the T-Rex contain? Wood? Stone? Ceramics? Iron? Steel? Copper? Aluminium? Lead? Mercury? Plastic? Water? Gold? Silver? Oil? Petrol? Some acid? Fabric of some kind? Is the T-Rex a vehicle? Can it fly? Does it have wheels? |

*****************$poiler**************** T-rex is a estate managemnt grp that has a huge "corporate centre" building in Boca Raton, Florida. "He" refers to any tourist in this part of the state. The T-Rex building has a tourist-value attached to it as the building was originally owned by IBM computers and the very first IBM PC was made here. and Boca Raton literally means Rat's Mouth. Thx everybody for participating. This was my first puzzle and congrats to shiftyape for hitting the nail on the head |
