Wheras other children may have gone to bed late to rebel against their parents less liberal rules? Or did you take advantage of your parents liberal attitudes and go to bed late? Or that you don't feel as well the next day if you haven't gotten enough sleep? no ***** SPOILER *********** My parents never gave me a curfew, partly because they were liberal by conviction, partly because they disliked arguments, & partly, I'm embarrassed to admit, because they realized I was too nerdy to get into trouble. So I could stay out as late as I wanted to--& hence got out of my system very early any idea that there was anything exciting about staying up late. Now, I'm usually in bed by 9:30 & turn down late-night activities, which I guess makesm e look like a frump. Thanks for solving it, Buzzrard, & please check out my new puzzle you-know-where. |
