Did he actually want you to commit the crime? Did you commit it? If you had done it and been caught, would you have been arrested? Sent to jail? Is it a crime in this country? Would it be considered illegal in most parts of the world? Does it involve harming people? Damaging property? Would it be illegal for anyone to do this, or just some people (eg driving is only illegal for people without licenses)? | ||

Would you have got in any trouble at all if you had been caught? Or is it a silly little law that isn't enforced? Is it something that used to be a law, but isn't any more? Also...sorry...I asked "Is it a crime in this country" and then realised we live in different ones, so is it a crime in the USA? In England? Is this crime to do with what you do? Where you go? What you wear? What you look like? What you say? Is it relevant why your friend wanted you to commit the crime? Was it as a kind of dare? To see if you would get away with it? Did he just want you to do it for a reason not connected to its being illegal? Did he do it too? Did he realise it was a crime? | ||
