Literally loses a leg, as in, a limb?
Did he lose one of his legs because of an accident? Did someone deliberately sever his leg? Any mechanical equipment involved?

thats ok, everyone starts somewhere, but things like bolding answers does make it easier to read :o)

I agree with Judge you shouldn't feel the need to give a hint each time someone asks a question with a no answer. Hints should only be given when a puzzle has gone a bit stale and hasn't seen any action for a few days. These aren't rules but it does make it more enjoyable for people trying to solve the puzzles to work them out for themselves. Believe me no matter how obscure you feel your puzzle to be someone on the forum will always come up with an answer.
