so the problem was that the commander wanted to attack a target from his battleship yet he needed to stay out of range to avoid being hit, so when he saw the kids skipping stones he had an idea to lower his trajectory which made his ballistics skip on the sea thereby increasing their range?I think this is good enough for a... ************Spoiler!!!!!************ I found out that an officer in a group called "Dam Busters" had to find a way to burst German dams in WW2 to flood coastline factories. He didn't want to have his ships shot in retaliation, so he was looking for an answer. It came when he was on leave and brought his kids to the beach. He saw them skip rocks on the water, and used that idea to use skipping mines or something like that! |
