Ok, here's my guess based on what I can tell/hopefully it's not too far off... does it have to do with the shapes of the letters--regarding the single letters, do they have to have both lines and curves (ie B, b) to be unanswerable, and those that have only straight lines (ie. x) or only curves (ie o) then you can answer them? Regarding the statements/words, you consider only the first letter, so you cannot answer any word/statement where the first letter is a non-answerable letter? | ||

Considering you can answer:
I'm going to suggest that if the first letter of a word in the line is answerable, than the whole line is answerable. Still confused about you being able to answer 'm' and 'u' but not 'n'. | ||

When I came up with this puzzle, I wrote out the letters on a sticky note, and my lowercase m's and u's are really curvy, but the n's are straight with that top curve... I'm starting to think I should have gone with the font instead, so I apologize for all the confusion... If no one can solve the last part in two posts, then I shall spoil | ||

Gah! Since no one seems to understand the last rule, I shall just have to... *************SPOOOOOOOOOOIL************** Alright guys, Here are the rules: I only look at the first letter/number in the sentance. Judging by that, I am able to answer them accordingly. 1) If the first letter consists of only straight lines, I answer it with straight letters. If it consists of only curvy lines, then I answer with only curvy letters. If it consists of BOTH straight and curvy, then I can't answer it. 2) If someone leaves a space between questions, or types a number, (not spells a number, but types one,) then I am able to answer both a space and a number with letters that consist of BOTH curvy and straight lines. Well, that's how I did it! Hope it was amuzing for everyone, and I will think up some more intriguing puzzles that you lot won't be able to solve right away! Good puzzling y'all! ;3 |
