Welcome to the Lateral Puzzles Forum, Eats. I think that I ought to tell you something, though, before you get shot down in flames. Here we do lateral thinking puzzles (see the FAQs at the top of the bulletin for more info), not what you've given us a link to. Though logic puzzles are excellent (my favourites, next to laterals) you should not post them here. Instead, create a lateral puzzle of your own for us all to try to solve. | ||

from his link you type in what it tells you - shambler.net/puzzone/waste.php then you just keep solving the clues and you replace where it says waste with the answer to get to the next page I hit a total blank on puzzle 8 I think it was though | ||

This is pretty a pretty interesting puzzle actually The host said he "found" the puzzle, but I think it was actually created by the host of this puzzle--Paul Fisch. I googled the name Paul Fisch and I think his nickname is shambler, but I could be wrong... anyway, I do like the puzzle but I myself am stuck on number 12 (regarding the gnomes)...I have tried everything but my mind is blank on this one... | ||

Yes, I assumed that the host was the author (advertising his site) :-) I'm currently stuck on the gnomes but it is number 11. Is number 12 about gnomes too ?! | ||

Booklover Look at the words at the top, and then you need to work out what word from the sentence lower down is missing. | ||

16 eh! Could you give me a very gentle hint for number 12. Find the commonality? i.e. is it a four letter word that has commonality with all of the other words? (I'm not entirely sure I understand the question.) If I get to 16 I'll give you a hand :-) | ||

yeah I didn't really get the commonality bit, I just tried what I've hinted below, and it happened to work 12 hint look at the words on the page, and think of one of them in another form, so like you've got: do does done, do something similar with one of the other words on the page | ||

I did pretty well until I got to 15--with the squid and mushroom...I know they are with Mario, but I'm not sure how to combine the two. | ||

Level 15 Hint: The squid is a Mario enemy. Combine him with the mushroom and he becomes a super enemy. I found the name of both enemies by looking through Google. I've never played Mario - I must be mad. | ||
