It might have been more effective, had they done it as part of the game. |

A computer game? some video game? Title relevant? Is the game itself dangerous? Because the players are at risk? of injury? of death? The story of that name is using "game" in the sense of something hunted, isn't it? Is that relevant to the puzzle? |

The story of that name is using "game" in the sense of something hunted, isn't it? I don't know the story at all but I just thought it was a catchy title Is that relevant to the puzzle? Yes, "hunting" is relevant, for svv of "hunting", but the "game" itself is used in the sense of a kind of game that you play |

what does FA mean? I've been meaning to ask for awhile. FA means "False Assumption". It means the question is based around an assumption that is incorrect. For example if you asked the question "While he was at the grocery store, did he buy anything?" but he was never at the grocery store, that would be an FA. |

So is this a game of... red vs. blue? (one team against the other) Simply going for total elimination of the other side? Playing capture the flag? The thing that would have been more effective... a method of eliminating somebody? A method of capturing a point? A method of capturing the flag? |

So is this a game of... red vs. blue? (one team against the other) Yes, there were two teams Simply going for total elimination of the other side? Yes, at least one side was trying to eliminate the other side. Playing capture the flag? No The thing that would have been more effective... a method of eliminating somebody? A method of capturing a point? A method of capturing the flag? None of the above HINTS: This game was being played by students on a college campus. The thing that would have been more effective was something done by another groups of students (and a few staff) that had nothing to do with the game - but what the puzzle statement is saying is that if they HAD made it part of the game, it might have been more effective.

Spoiler: The game was "Humans versus Zombies," a game being played at the University of Maryland in which players divide up into teams of "humans" and "zombies". Throughout a period of 10 days, zombies must try to "tag" humans wherever they go. Humans can defend themselves by shooting Nerf guns at approaching zombies, which takes them out of the game for a short time. The other event was the campus' annual "Safety Walk", organized by the student government, which involves a group of students and staff walking across campus to identify dangerous areas on campus, so that they know where to put more lighting, cameras, police etc. I was saying that the "Safety Walk" might have been more effective if they had made it part of "Humans versus Zombies," say be having a few "human" players in the group, because then the areas where "zombies" were able to successfully sneak up on and attack the "humans" would be identified as areas where a robber could do the same. |
