is it a truthful yes? a sarcastic yes? is there an emotion associated with saying yes? annoyance? amusement? his = he? is his job relevant? is it relevant who asks the question? does he ever answer no to it? is his family relevant? country he lives in? is he someone famous? |

Is this a guy that answers OR questions with just yes? Would you like fries or brussel sprouts or dung beetles? Yes! (In an or statement, you only have to agree with one part ot the sentence in order for it to be true.) |

I remember when I worked in the college library people would ask me what our hours were when I was standing directly beneath the sign showing our hours... Is this a sort of "Here's your sign" thing? Is the question about food? About how he prepares it? About him personally? About the establishment? |

I remember when I worked in the college library people would ask me what our hours were when I was standing directly beneath the sign showing our hours... My friend used to work at Disney World, and she would constantly get 2 questions: "What time is the 3 o'clock parade?" and "When is it going to stop raining?" Is this a sort of "Here's your sign" thing?not quite as obvious, but sort of Is the question about food?no About how he prepares it?no About him personally?yes About the establishment?yes |

People often aske him if he is "the" Jimmy of Jimmy John's. Last piece of info: why is the answer to that question obviously no? |

was the deli established in 1950? and he is only 30?Close enough! ********** SPOILER ************* Jimmy works at Jimmy John's Deli, which, as per the giant sign over Jimmy's head, was establised in 1983. Jimmy is 21, and doesn't look a day older. So unless Jimmy founded the deli a couple of years before he was born, it's quite obvious that he is not "Jimmy John." So when people (usually late night drunk customers) ask him, "Are you THE Jimmy John?" he usually responds with an emphatic, sarcastic, "Yes!" |
