Thinking out loud (This is not a freaking question, yo): My first thoughts were about Prince, but that would be one written, five spoken. i.e., the ONE symbol that looks kinda like O(+> written, spoken as the FIVE words "Artist Formerly Known as Prince". I also can't shake a feeling that something Russian is relevant here. I'll try to expand later... | ||

Well my first guess was an ordinary five-letter English word that is pronounced exactly like the name of a single letter of the alphabet. It's a fairly well-known example though, so maybe that's too easy.(again thinking out loud, not a question) | ||
