Another Eazy One, folks. If you haven't seen the others, I'll outline the concept (and clarify, for confusion caused by the others). I will only provide a total of five answers. You may ask multi-part questions, but keep it to TWO OR THREE PARTS MAX. I will answer a few posts at once as ONE answer. There, clearer now. The puzzle: It's one spoken, five written. |

I have a random guess, but won't waste a question on it now... As for the "one" spoken, is this referring to letters? words? syllables? Same for the "five" written? |

Thinking out loud (This is not a freaking question, yo): My first thoughts were about Prince, but that would be one written, five spoken. i.e., the ONE symbol that looks kinda like O(+> written, spoken as the FIVE words "Artist Formerly Known as Prince". I also can't shake a feeling that something Russian is relevant here. I'll try to expand later... |

Well my first guess was an ordinary five-letter English word that is pronounced exactly like the name of a single letter of the alphabet. It's a fairly well-known example though, so maybe that's too easy.(again thinking out loud, not a question) |

I know. I love that word, right? Anyway, perhaps the Soviet Union was one union when people where allowed to speak of it, but it was five pillars of Islam when it was written in the Book of the Elders. "Union of Soviet Socialist Republics" = 5? |

Also,
quote:"It's one spoken, five written."
is also exactly five words. Hmmm... |

*****SPOILER***** This is making up for Eazy One #1, I thought more people knew about The Residents, haha. This one was eazy from the start. Biograd, you've got the points for this one - not entirely sure why I posted it, really - with 'queue'. Hope the contributors enjoyed their 30 seconds worth of entertainment. |
