They -- Human? Adult? Males? Living organisms? here(1) = here(2) = here(3)? Here -- on earth? If so, on a particular continent? On [LTPF list of continents]? In space? On another planet? (If not all the "here" instances mean the same thing, repeat for each sense of here.) To stay -- for a year? Less than ten years? Less than 100? Less than 1,000? Less than 100,000? More than 10 million? How long were they here? (Same set of questions as above) |

Caucasion north americans? Bostonians? I know this will be confusing, but it is not really relevant where they were from, rather who "they" are and what "they" did is, and how that relates to the puzzle. |

So "they" are only males? Will they "be here to stay" for a normal human lifespan? Longer? Will different "they"s take their place? Are they famous? Celebrities? Are they spread across North America? |

Are they all related? Are they all the same age? Their names are part of the answer => Do they run an organization or a company, that creates some object or service, and this organization carries their name? Is the fact that they're going to be around for only about a 100 years relevant? Is it because they create something that will be redundant/not required in a century or so? |

Are their names written on paper? Engraved in stone? American Revolution relevant? written on something yes, but not paper or stone, and not American revolution relevant. Are they popularly considered heroes? not really, Evil? no Is what they created still in use? Still existant? Is it art of some kind? yes to last three with aa small -ish for the first one Foreplay/Long Time? no Are they all related? biologially no, but what they did/do yes Are they all the same age? no Their names are part of the answer if you want to guess names it fine, but not really what i had in mind. But the names are kinda relevant to this puzzle=> Do they run an organization or a company, that creates some object or service, and this organization carries their name? no Is the fact that they're going to be around for only about a 100 years relevant? Depends on how long they last due to natural causes, among other things Is it because they create something that will be redundant/not required in a century or so? No. The object(s) in question is sort of like a piece of art or a building or or some sort of structure, that if taken care could last 100 years, but it all depends on if someone is there to take care of it |

So let me get this straight. 'They' are a group of people, who create some structure or object which has to be taken care of for it to last 100 years or so. You said that 'they will be here to stay' but then you said that they're already dead.. Posted on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 - 7:39 pm: "Will their bodies be kept somewhere after theiy're deceased? they're already dead" Now the questions: Are 'they' all related by a common occupation, or was this something they did out of interest? Will 'they' themselves take care of this 'structure' or is it possible for anyone wanting its longevity to take care of it? If someone is there to take care of it, is it relevant who that person is? Will he be someone famous? Will he belong to a certain occupation? religion? community? nationality? economic or social group? You say that natural causes would also play a part in this structure's future. Is this natural cause related to weather? landforms? global warming? natural disasters?(earthquakes, volcano eruptions etc.) |

'They' are a group of people, who create some structure or object which has to be taken care of for it to last 100 years or so. FA You said that 'they will be here to stay' but then you said that they're already dead.. yes, but be wary of false assumptions. Think about Abe Lincoln. He's dead but still "here", as the Lincoln Memorial" Posted on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 - 7:39 pm: "Will their bodies be kept somewhere after theiy're deceased? they're already dead" Now the questions: Are 'they' all related by a common occupation, or was this something they did out of interest? both, yes i know its confusing Will 'they' themselves take care of this 'structure' or is it possible for anyone wanting its longevity to take care of it? FA If someone is there to take care of it, is it relevant who that person is? Will he be someone famous? Not relevant, who exact;ly takes care of it, nor is he/she famous Will he belong to a certain occupation? yes religion? no community? no nationality? no economic or social group? kinda linked to occupation You say that natural causes would also play a part in this structure's future. Is this natural cause related to weather? this one landforms? global warming? natural disasters?(earthquakes, volcano eruptions etc.) |

after looking at some of these answers i realized how confusing some of my answer were so here's the *********** SPOILER **************** So the group of people in question are all famous poets, from mostly the USA and parts of Europe who have already died. So they were here in a general sense. It just so happens all the streets in a neighborhood near mine are named after some these poets. {i.e Poe, Kilmer, Longfellow, Burns, Holmes, Whitman, King, just to name a few) So in a way they (they're names at least) are still here. and depending on how long this neighborhood last these streets and thus the poets names will be here to stay. Btw. if you don't believe me just google like Burns St. Tucson, AZ |
