Gloria jogs as quickly as possible, carrying a gun and a dripping bag. Eventually she stops, tosses the bag away, and continues at a more leisurely pace. |

Ohlala8 (Ohlala8) Is the animal dead at the time she puts it in the bag? Yes, slight FA. Is it dead at the time she throws the bag away? Yes. Was the animal someone's pet? No. Did she run over it and then shoot it to put it out of its misery? No. Did it have rabies? Maybe. Good question. Was she intending to eat it? No. Did she dislike this species of animal? No. This animal in particular? Not necessarily. Did she kill it out of revenge? No. Was she just a mean person who liked to kill animals? No. By the way, the same FA persists in all the above questions. Alex319 (Alex319) Was the "animal" she shot a human? No. Sugarshane (Sugarshane) is it a dog? Noish. cat? bird? snake? was it her pet? No to rest. did it have rabies? Maybe. is why she killed the animal relevant? Yes. any other humans relevant? Not directly. did she stop running to avoid attention? No. by the police? Buzzard (Buzzard) Does the bag contain only part of the animal? Yes! That's half the FA done with, the other half still persists. If so, is it relevant which part? Yes. Is it relevant what happened to the rest of the animal's body? No, FA. |

To clarify...Gloria is human? Adult? Female? Did she witness the contents of the bag being put into the bag? Did she put the contents of the bag into the bag? Did someone give her the bag? Did she find the bag somewhere and decide to pick it up? Did she know what was in the bag? Was she under the assumption that something besides animal heads were in the bag? Did she depart from a specific point with the bag? Did she have a certain destination (where she was jogging to)? If she hadn't thrown the bag away, would she have continued to go to the original destination? Once she threw the bag away, did she continue to a defined place? Or just continue an aimless walk/jog? Did she jog again at any time after throwing away the bag? If everything else had been the same except it was potatoes in the bag instead, would she have acted the same way? |

I forgot about the gun - does she continue carrying it after she throws the bag away? Is it concealed? Does she carry the gun as part of her job? Do the heads come from coyotes? Another predatory mammal? Did someone ask Gloria to kill an animal/animals? Did she do this as part of her job? Did she behead the animals? Longshot - Gloria works for either a pest control service or for animal control, and she has been dispatched to subdue some kind of predatory animals that are threatening either some people or livestock. She needs to take part of the animals somewhere to be analyzed to detect any possible communicable diseases like rabies, but as she's on the way someone contacts her by phone/radio and tells her that the animals aren't infected, so she ditches the bag o' heads. Anywhere on the right track? |

Ixoye724 (Ixoye724) I forgot about the gun - does she continue carrying it after she throws the bag away? Irr., probably. Is it concealed? No. Does she carry the gun as part of her job? No. Do the heads come from coyotes? This or foxes; they work equally well. Another predatory mammal? Did someone ask Gloria to kill an animal/animals? No. Did she do this as part of her job? No. Did she behead the animals? Yes. Longshot - Gloria works for either a pest control service or for animal control, and she has been dispatched to subdue some kind of predatory animals that are threatening either some people or livestock. Ixoye724 (Ixoye724) I had another thought just after I finished typing the last post, but it's even more of a longshot involving fictional characters - I'll wait to see how my last q's are answered before going further though... So she shot these animals and then beheaded them? Relevant what she used to behead them? Relevant why she felt the need to behead them when they had already been shot? Was it just because it's easier to carry a bag o' heads than a bag o' foxes? Or did she not shoot them at all, and beheading was the primary killing method? Did she use her gun in any way during this story other than to shoot the foxes? Did she kill all the foxes at the same time? In the same place? Is she a forest ranger? A member of the center for disease control? Is her profession relevant? |

The long(er) shot I was thinking was that possibly she was carrying heads of wolves that she'd killed in pursuit of a werewolf, and the gun was loaded with silver bullets. Along the way to have the heads checked out someone told her "He's killed again", so she ditched the heads knowing she hadn't yet got him. Oh well, back to where we left off... Did Gloria come in contact with anyone while she was transporting the bag? Did someone call her on a phone? Contact her by radio or some other portable device? Did she somehow learn that the animals either definitely did or did not have rabies (the animals whose heads were in the bag)? |

Did she realize that the foxes hadn't broken the skin? Or some other reason why they couldn't have given her rabies? Did she figure out that they couldn't have had rabies in the first place? Figure out something she could do to ensure that she wasn't infected without first testing the heads? For instance, did she happen upon a rabies clinic on her way to the testing facility? |

Martinfg (Martinfg) Did she realise that it did not matter if she had rabies or not? No. I'm gonna spoil this one, because there isn't much more to get and I've got better ones waiting. ******************SPOILER Gloria was hiking in a very isolated area when she was attacked by foxes. She managed to shoot them, but not before she was bitten. Since this is obviously not normal fox behavior, she fears they have rabies. She has a limited knowledge of the disease, but knows the the heads of rabid dogs are often taken for testing, so she removes the heads to take to town. However, while rushing to get tested and treated, Gloria gets lost. The other info she knows about rabies is that it must be treated as quickly as possible. This is the part where motive doesn't really matter; after a few days, either she thinks she is developing symptoms, or simply thinks it is too late to get treated. Since there is no real reason to carry the heads anymore--she either has rabies or she doesn't--she tosses them away and tries to find her way out more leisurely. NOTE: This is not good medical advice, although I've heard people say before that rabies treatment is useless after a few days. You should always seek treatment, no matter how long after the exposure. |
