Does "hand" refer to a part of the human body usually located at the end of an arm? Could her death have been avoided by him using two of his own hands? One of his own hands and another hand? Two other hands?

Did the two hands include the hour hand? minute hand? second hand?

Does "he" refer to the clock? Was the clock shaped like a person? An animal? Does "using" two hands mean that both hands were visible? were working properly? were present? were noticed? Did not using two hands result in the time being read incorrectly?

Did the two hands include the hour hand? This. minute hand? And this. second hand?

Does "he" refer to the clock? Yes. Was the clock shaped like a person? Yes. Though this is kinda irrelevant, just to hide it wasn't an it. An animal? Not this.

Does "using" two hands mean that both hands were visible? No. were working properly? This. were present? were noticed? No to the rest. Did not using two hands result in the time being read incorrectly? Correct.

was a digital clock used instead of analog one? No, it was analog.

Any other relevant humans here? Yope. Was a time bomb, by any chance, involved? No, good try.

Was one hand in the wrong position/stuck? If so, was it the hour or minute hand? Did the think it was later than it really was? Earlier? Was she late or early for something, and died as a result? Would it have happened if she was (late/early) for a different reason?
Did she think something was safe at the time, when it wasn't?

Did she die of starvation? Lack of water? Lack of oxygen? Exposure? Disease? Fire? Drowning? Heart attack? Stroke? Murder? Suicide? Accident?

Was it the minute hand that was stuck? Or the hour hand? If it had been the other hand that was stuck, still displaying a time earlier than reality, would she still have died? Would she still have died if she was late by seconds? one minute? 2 minutes? 5? 10? 15? 20? 30? 45? 1 hour? 2 hours?

Did she die of starvation? Lack of water? Lack of oxygen? Exposure? Disease? Almost this. Fire? Drowning? Heart attack? Stroke? Murder? Suicide? Accident?

Was it the minute hand that was stuck? Or the hour hand? Both. If it had been the other hand that was stuck, still displaying a time earlier than reality, would she still have died? Would she still have died if she was late by seconds? one minute? 2 minutes? 5? 10? 15? 20? 30? Perhaps around this time. 45? 1 hour? 2 hours?

Getting ready for the finishing blow...

Did she die at the time of the thing she was late for? At the time she arrived (or began doing) the thing she was late for? Sometime after the thing she was late for?

Was the "almost" disease infectious? Genetic? Caused by environmental factors (radiation poisoning, for example)? Stress? Lifestyle factors? Allergens? Did she have the disease before she arrived wherever-it-was late? Did arriving late result in her contracting the disease? Cause a fatal flare-up of the disease? Remove her from a possible treatment or cure (I'm thinking Mission Impossible here)? Cause her to be overwhelmed by some other factor in her weakened state?

Did she die at the time of the thing she was late for? No. At the time she arrived (or began doing) the thing she was late for? No. Sometime after the thing she was late for? This.

Was she poisoned? Was the "almost" disease infectious? Genetic? Caused by environmental factors (radiation poisoning, for example)? Stress? Lifestyle factors? Allergens? Irrel.

Did she have the disease before she arrived wherever-it-was late? Not arrived, but yes. Did arriving late result in her contracting the disease? Cause a fatal flare-up of the disease? Neither. Remove her from a possible treatment or cure (I'm thinking Mission Impossible here)? YES. Cause her to be overwhelmed by some other factor in her weakened state? No.

I'd say he's got it so...

*** SPOILER ***

Two hands of a woman's watch had stopped, so she was late for an appointment - an appointment for a cure that would have saved her life. She didn't notice her watch was stopped because the second hand was still going.
