The usual, please. That is: was the man a human? an adult? a male? and does "he" refer to the man in the first clause? or to someone else altogether? |

Did someone else try to withdraw money from the ATM, but because of cold/ice the lid over the "banknote department" was frozen stuck and that person couldn't get to his money? But because of thaw - or brutal force - Midas managed to get both to his and that other person's money? |

Is a frozen account relevant? Was the ATM malfunctioning because of the weather? Freezing? Did bills stick together, so he got more? Did the bills stick together because of something like glue/something sticky that was already on them? Was the ATM opening (where the money comes out) working normally? Was the amount subtracted from his account smaller than what he received? Was this a lucky event, or specific to his account? |

Is fingerprint identification relevant? Did he because of his shaking, accidentally press the button of a higher amount than he wanted, so that's why he walked away with more money than expected? Did he use a shortcut to get money (press button A for 10, B for 20, etc) or did he type in the amount he wanted? |

Literal crystals of ice involved? Did his finger(s)s slip on the buttons? Because they were icy? Or wet, and the water froze on the buttons? Was the mistake caused by anything but the interaction between fingers and buttons? Such as - he slipped on the ground and pressed the wrong button? |

Was he blind, and misread the braille on the buttons? Ding Dong Ding Dong! This calls for a... **********SPOILER********** Yes, Galfisk is correct. The man was blind, and since his fingers were numb he withdrew the wrong amount. Example: He wanted to take out 124 of his currency. He knew the pattern of the numbers (a kind of upside-down L or backwards 7) and being the clever person he was he knew that none of those numbers had a bump in the middle (like 5 has) and that all the other upside down L patterns had a 5 in them. So instead of starting at 1 he started at 5 (which he couldn't feel) and then 6 and then 8. Since he could feel no bumps he knew it had to be 124. So he ended up with 444 more than he expected. Gold Stars:
