I've made up a new verb: to frass. I often frass, but I know people who rarely, if ever, do. However, I didn't frass at all for a couple of weeks last summer. How does one frass? Haven't posted a puzzle in a while... coming back with an easy one! |

nice set of Qs, Galfisk - that's like calling in an [LTPF airstrike] ...forgive the martial terminology... did you not frass last summer because you were on vacation? does frassing require circumstances or items that are found in a certain place (as in going to your local branch library and looking up Henry James biographies - a situation that could use a verb, for brevity's sake)? checking email relevant (I have a business associate who seldom checks her email, which occasionally frustrates me to no end)? Is frassing active (running laps, baking cakes)? passive (napping, watching tennis matches)? other computer activity relevant? watching television? going to the cinema? |

=) For what it's worth, "frass" is a real word. It's insect (and other small arthropod) feces. Lovely, 'eh? =) |

Hee hee This puzzle is a load of Insect Poo. Following Galfisk's Lateral Smart Bomb i'll just ask two questions.. Did exposure to the sun cause you to stop frassing last summer? Is foreign travel relevant in either frassing or not frassing? |

Oh, great. I come back from a hard day of work and I find this insect thingy ;-) I checked on the dictionary, but not on Wikipedia! Galfisk: Do you frass several times a: second? Minute? Hour? Day? This, but not necessarily every day. Week? Month? Year? Do you require any equipment to frass? Yes. Could one frass in the 1950s? 1800s? 1500s? Yes to all. Is frassing possible at any time of the day? Yes. Any day of the week? Yes. Do you enjoy frassing? Yes-ish. Is it generally considered enjoyable? Yes-ish. Is it useful? Not really. Stressful? No. Does it cost money? No. Earn money? No. Food relevant? No. Is it relevant that you didn't frass in the summr? No-ish. Or could it have been at any time of the year? Yes-ish. Is frassing more common at some times of the year than others? Good question. Assume no. Do you frass at home? Yes. At work? No. Outside? No. When shopping? No. Traveling? Could be. Vacationing? Could be. In your sleep? Could be. Do you frass alone? Yes. With another person? No. More than one? No. If so, will they also be frassing at the same time? Or take turns? Does frassing produce something tangible? No. Intangible? No. Sound? A bit. Is it a chore? No. Does your frassing benefit others? No. yourself? Yes. Or is it detrimental? No. Is frassing observable? Yes. Or something you do in your mind? No. Is it difficult? No. Does it require a certain skill? No. Do you get better at frassing if you do it a lot? No. Can you practice frassing? No. Keep these questions in mind, you will have a laugh at the end of the puzzle. Can any HAM frass? HAF? No. HCM/HCF? No. Can babies frass? I guess so. Can blind or deaf frass? Yes. Quadriplegic? No. Could someone else do your frassing for you? No. Does frassing take at least: seconds? This, not more. Minutes? Hours? Days? Weeks? Is frassing more common in some countries than others? I don't think anyone has ever studied that, but I guess not. We can use the LTPF as a test ground! Yojimbo: did you not frass last summer because you were on vacation? Incorrect. does frassing require circumstances or items that are found in a certain place (as in going to your local branch library and looking up Henry James biographies - a situation that could use a verb, for brevity's sake)? Yes, in some sense. checking email relevant (I have a business associate who seldom checks her email, which occasionally frustrates me to no end)? No. Is frassing active (running laps, baking cakes)? Yes. passive (napping, watching tennis matches)? No. other computer activity relevant? No. watching television? No. going to the cinema? No. Peter365: Did exposure to the sun cause you to stop frassing last summer? No. Is foreign travel relevant in either frassing or not frassing? No. |

I don't know what it is about this puzzle, but I come up with tons of questions with hardly any effort(: Do you frass with your: hands? Feet? Head? Mouth? Nose? Can you "frass something"? "frass someone"? Do you usually frass in a certain room in your home? Do you frass out of habit? During the summer, was there something keeping you from frassing? Did you still want to frass? Were you able to? Were you injured at the time? Can you injure yourself frassing? Did you take any medication when you were not frassing? Do you frass more in a certain mood? If so, when you're: happy? Sad? Worried? Angry? Relaxed? Stressed out? Extatic? Confused? Sleepy? Can animals frass? Could a humanoid robot frass? Bodily functions involved? Digestive system? If you frassed in someone's prescence, would they mind? Would they enjoy it? Be annoyed? Does frassing bring relief? Could you do something else that would have the same result as frassing? Is it possible to teach someone to frass? Is the frassing equipment a common household object? Is it found in nature? Do you carry it with you? Does it fit in your pocket? Is it expensive? does it wear out? Or is it consumed when you frass? Could stone-age man frass? Could you frass in space/zero gravity? Underwater? In the wind? On a rollercoaster? If you frassed a few seconds ago, would it be useful to frass again? |

Do you frass with your: hands? Feet? This. Head? Mouth? Nose? Can you "frass something"? No. "frass someone"? No. Do you usually frass in a certain room in your home? Yes. Do you frass out of habit? No. During the summer, was there something keeping you from frassing? Yes. Did you still want to frass? Yes. Were you able to? No. Were you injured at the time? No. Can you injure yourself frassing? No. Did you take any medication when you were not frassing? No. Do you frass more in a certain mood? No-ish. If so, when you're: happy? Sad? Worried? Angry? Relaxed? Stressed out? This might lead to a slightly higher frassing frequency. Extatic? Confused? Sleepy? Can animals frass? In principle yes, although I don't know if they do. Could a humanoid robot frass? Maybe. Depends on the robot. Bodily functions involved? Yes-ish. Digestive system? No. If you frassed in someone's prescence, would they mind? No. Would they enjoy it? Be annoyed? Neither. Does frassing bring relief? Yes, exactly. Could you do something else that would have the same result as frassing? Yes. Is it possible to teach someone to frass? Well, yes, but it would sound rather funny. Is the frassing equipment a common household object? Yes. Is it found in nature? No. Do you carry it with you? No. Does it fit in your pocket? No. Is it expensive? Define expensive. does it wear out? Yes. Or is it consumed when you frass? No. Could stone-age man frass? Yes, I think so. Could you frass in space/zero gravity? Idem. Underwater? No. In the wind? No, although "Frassin' in the wind" would make for a great song title. On a rollercoaster? No. If you frassed a few seconds ago, would it be useful to frass again? No, with a slight FA. |

Can you frass while walking? Could you not frass in the summer, because you didn't have frassing equipment? If so: Was it broken? Lost? Forgotten somewhere? Can you make your own frassing equipment? Socks? Is it possible for someone else to see if you've frassed recently? Is it possible to see if you really need to frass? Can you frass in the nude? |

I'm intrigued that you need some equipment made of fabric but you could frass in your sleep. Is the 'equipment' bedding? Is frassing, kicking the bedding off? Because you're too hot? |
