On another forum we were talking about what we collect, if indeed we do so. One person came up with the most unusual collection that most of us had ever heard of. Yet when she explained why, it made perfect sense. What did she collect? | ||

Can you typically buy such objects in a town of 20.000 people (in place, not per mail order, over the internet etc.)? In a city of 200.000 people? Would any of this type of object be worthy for her collection? Or is there something special with the ones she collect? Are they all different? All identical? From different time periods? Different manufacturers? Different places in the world? Are they the tabs off of soda cans (I heard about a charity making use of those)? Can the collection ever be considered to be complete? Is the point of the collection to sell or give away the items? To do something useful with them? Or simply the collecting itself? | ||

"of"? ******* SPOILER *********** I've just gone back to her entry and see that I missed one or two parameters of her collection, but you still got there at a fair lick! She collects the word “the”. She cuts it out from magazines and whatnot, mainly from titles and ads (not teeny tiny ones from within the text). - my mistake I'd forgotten she said not the tiny ones - She's a graphic designer, and just enjoys the wide variety of colors - oops, I forgot that colour was also relevant - and type styles.
