Did they go free? Or did something worse happen to them? Like death? Did they go into hiding? Escape to another country? Or were they deported? Did the police stop looking for them? Did they break the law that kept them out of prison, after they broke the first law? Relevant what they did to risk ending up in prison? Did the second crime absolve them from the first one? No, there isn't, and your summary is so precise I do not even need to publish a ******************SPOILER********************* The men were, indeed, thieves attempting to steal steel to sell it for scrap. They selected an abandoned factory warehouse and started cutting the steel girders supporting the roof. Obviously, the roof collapsed on them and fatally crushed two of them. A true story. They even made it to Darwin Awards nomination for 2007. Thank you all for participating, and kudos to Galfisk for cutting the final beam :-)) |
