I usually keti for years, but most people I know don't, and there's no real need to. But everyone should keti for at least a few minutes, unless they want their day ruined.

How does one keti?

Does it have to do with avoiding something? If so, avoiding a food? A type of food? An action?

*Giggles at the back* Neologisms always sound dirty...
Could you say / Would it make sense to say:
I ketied? Yes.
I keti every day on the bus? Um...depends on the bus.
I saw the teacher ketiing? Yes, if you see her doing it.
We ketied together? Sure.
She ketied me? No.
The ketiing went on for ages? It'd be a little odd to say, but sure.
The doctor could see I keti alot? It's possible, but a doctor would know no more about your ketiing than anyone else.

Noel (Noel)

Does it have to do with avoiding something? Not really. If so, avoiding a food? A type of food? No. An action? Noish.

Alhucema (Alhucema)

When I see you, can I tell whether you are ketiing or not? Only at certain moments. Usually, no.

Should one keti every day, in order to not ruin the day? Or can one keti once a week without having problems? How abouth month? Year? Lifetime? Do people all over the world keti? Are there people that are physically unable to keti? Does that make them unhappy? Can animals keti? Does ketiing reduce stress? Is it healthy? Does it cost money? Do you keti with an object? Can you keti in the nude? Is it usually done indoors? In the home? At work? Outdoors? In a special place made specifically for ketiing?

Galfisk (Galfisk)

Should one keti every day, in order to not ruin the day? Not necessarily. Very slight, lurking, almost imperceptible FA. Or can one keti once a week without having problems? How abouth month? Year? Lifetime? Depends on other factors. Do people all over the world keti? Yes. Are there people that are physically unable to keti? Not many, though there might not be a point for some people. Does that make them unhappy? Possibly. Can animals keti? Possibly some could be taught to. =) Does ketiing reduce stress? Sometimes, indirectly. Is it healthy? No. Does it cost money? Yesish. Do you keti with an object? YES. Can you keti in the nude? Hard to answer! I'll say yesish... Is it usually done indoors? Yes. In the home? For me and many people, part of it takes place here, but there's other relevant places. At work? Outdoors? In a special place made specifically for ketiing? No to rest.

Can you keti in the dark? Can you keti while hanging under a parachute? Would you want to? Is the object made of: stone? Wood? Plastic? Metal? Fabric? Liquid? Is it consumed by ketiing? Or worn out? Can it be used more than once? Is it usually bought? Is that what costs money? Is it mass produced? Handmade?
Did the ancient Egyptians keti? How about the Romans? Can it be illegal to keti? Can it be said that you "keti yourself"? Do you keti with your hands? Feet? Arms? Legs? Mouth? Eyes? Brain? Do you have to be taught how to keti?

Alhucema (Alhucema)

Do you need to move when ketiing? Part of ketiing requires some movement. Is the object with which you keti always the same? Yes. Is ketiing translatable with one word? No.

Galfisk (Galfisk)

Can you keti in the dark? Yes. Can you keti while hanging under a parachute? I suppose so, yes. Would you want to? In certain situations, sure. Is the object made of: stone? Wood? This is closest. Plastic? Metal? Fabric? Liquid? Is it consumed by ketiing? No. Or worn out? Sometimes. Can it be used more than once? Sometimes. Is it usually bought? Yes. Is that what costs money? Yes. Is it mass produced? This. Handmade?
Did the ancient Egyptians keti? Not that I can find. How about the Romans? Had to look it up, but apparently they could have! Can it be illegal to keti? No. Can it be said that you "keti yourself"? No. Do you keti with your hands? Most likely just these. Feet? Arms? Legs? Mouth? Eyes? Brain? Do you have to be taught how to keti? Not necessarily.

Is hygiene relevant? No. Is the object made of paper? Yes. Cardboard? Plywood? Particle board? Other wood product? No to rest. Is it bigger than a: fingernail? Toothpick? Yes, no to rest. Pencil? Finger? Golf ball? Fist? Head? Suitcase? Person? Fridge? Car? House? Can it be made by hand? Yes, and to revise my earlier answer, it is probably occasionally hand made. The mass-produced kind is more common.

Would anyone who you met for the first time know that you keti? Does it leave some obvious literal (or figurative?) 'mark'? Does your family know you keti? Do your friends? Would you consider ketiing a major event of a day on which you did it? Would this be something you would post a Facebook status or tweet about ("Ketied today... LTPF friends clueless" ;-D)? Is ketiing a constant event? or one that can be started and stopped at certain points in the process? or at will?

Is the using, in whatever manner it's used, of the paper the entire act of ketiing? or just one of the steps? Does ketiing involve altering the physical properties of the paper (other than changing what is/is not written on it)? like by cutting? folding? tearing?

Is the paper regular (to US-icans, anyway) 8.5"x11" sheets? scrap paper? graph paper? origami paper? tracing paper? some other sort of paper? lined? unlined? Any of this relevant? It isn't money, is it (I know, technically our 'paper' money is fabric, but most don't think of it this way)?

"everyone should keti" - everyone = all people in the world currently? all adult humans? all humans with a job? all people in Western cultures? Eastern cultures?

"for at least a few minutes" - for at least a few minutes at a time? over the course of a set period of time? an hour? a day? a week? a month? a year? longer? over the course of their respective lifetimes?

Would anyone who you met for the first time know that you keti? No. Does it leave some obvious literal (or figurative?) 'mark'? No. Does your family know you keti? Yes. Do your friends? Several, yes. Would you consider ketiing a major event of a day on which you did it? No, but a small part of one. Would this be something you would post a Facebook status or tweet about ("Ketied today... LTPF friends clueless" ;-D)? Probably not, but now I kind of want to post that... Is ketiing a constant event? or one that can be started and stopped at certain points in the process? or at will? Good question! I'd say there's a definite action at the beginning, then it continues constantly. One can stop but it would be difficult to start up the exact same ketiing again.

Is the using, in whatever manner it's used, of the paper the entire act of ketiing? No. or just one of the steps? That's the beginning. Does ketiing involve altering the physical properties of the paper (other than changing what is/is not written on it)? No, but... like by cutting? folding? tearing? This is often done to it.

Is the paper regular (to US-icans, anyway) 8.5"x11" sheets? No or rarely. scrap paper? graph paper? origami paper? tracing paper? some other sort of paper? Usually. lined? unlined? This. Any of this relevant? It could help. It isn't money, is it (I know, technically our 'paper' money is fabric, but most don't think of it this way)? No.

"everyone should keti" - everyone = all people in the world currently? all adult humans? Technically this, but many people never need to. all humans with a job? all people in Western cultures? Eastern cultures?

"for at least a few minutes" - for at least a few minutes at a time? This. over the course of a set period of time? an hour? a day? a week? a month? a year? longer? over the course of their respective lifetimes? Each time ketiing is possible, one should to it for at least a few minutes.

So the typical use use of the paper involves reading? but using it to keti does not?

Must one remain in the same location for the entire period of ketiing? Is it necessary to remain within a certain distance of the paper during the period (for example, within reach, or within sight)?

Is there any active motion of the body required for the remainder of ketiing, i.e. the part after the paper is used? or is it more like waiting for something to happen? or thinking of something?

to keti = to save tickets or ticket stubs? Yes indeed! Nice quick solve, Kalira, Biograd and Galfisk!

**************SPOILER
To keti is to keep one's ticket after one had been admitted to the movie, event, mode of transportation. etc. I keep tickets for years to have a memento, but it isn't necessary. But everyone should keep their ticket for at least a few minutes, so they can prove they already paid and don't get kicked out.
