Did the flood come from the sea? A tidal wave? Tsunami? Some other cause?

Was Grandpa driven out of his home due to the flood? Or was he still living there when he got his revenge?

Is the type of fish relevant?

Was the flood from: rain? Melting snow? Broken dam? Newbuilt dam? Was the flooding permanent?
Grandpa didn't want his home to become flooded, but when it happened anyway, he went there for fishing. Is that a good summary?

Grandpa didn't want his home to become flooded, but when it happened anyway, he went there for fishing. Is that a good summary? Yes, good job!

This was inspired by the sight of old houses under the water at a local reservoir, that provide cover for fish.
