The prop was created later but technology etc. to create it was already available in Roman times. And with the prop you could have done it at any time. In this puzzle optics is not more relevant than in every day life. But the phenomenon is visible. |

Somewhere in Germany there is a particular pedestal. It is to be used in the following way: you get on it and stay there for a while (you may be watched by others) with the intention to boosts your self-esteem. The latter works only because of some characteristic of the pedestal left to be found out. |
