(Forgive me if this is too easy) A pitcher throws a perfect game. Immediately it is determined that the last strike was actually a foul ball. Instead of having the game continue, the game ends and the perfect game is never recorded. The pitcher doesn't protest much. Why? |

Yay! A baseball puzzle. And one more thing: Make sure to put your name in the title in brackets, like this [Tomsab] - this makes it easier for users to identify your puzzles. And possible $poiler e-mailed. If possible $poiler is incorrect: Pitcher: HAM? Is this a professional baseball game? Major league? Is this a true story? |

Is this in a regular baseball game? Is it in an organized league? Just a pick-up game? "Perfect game" = 27 outs in baseball, no runners reach base? Or is it a 300 game in bowling? |

So the pitcher was bowling? Not playing baseball? Did he complete the 300 game perfectly? Or miss on his last throw? |

Foul ball = gutter ball? A ball pitched when the pitcher was standing in a forbidden location? Or did the pitcher throw one more ball than was allowed by the rules? |

Only moderators can move the puzzle into solved. Just put the word "$POILER" (with an S) with the answer. This tells the moderator it's ready to be moved. |
