people = real people? fictional characters? HAM? HAF? Mixed? Relevant?

Move: from one place to another? Start to do something? Finish something?

Don't want: Do not wish to move? Are incapable of moving? Is their reason relevant?

Surpring: to you? to most people? to the media? to the politicians?

School time: that period in the fall when a new year of school starts?

Relevant when this does take place? Location?

True story?

people = real people? yes fictional characters? no HAM? HAF? Mixed? Relevant? mixed adults

Move: from one place to another? apparently Start to do something? no Finish something? no

Don't want: Do not wish to move? apparently Are incapable of moving? they are physically capable of moving Is their reason relevant? there is a reason why this is so

Surpring: to you? not just me, I'm sure others are surprised too to most people? probably not to the media? I've not read reports about it, if that's what you mean to the politicians? they have not mentioned the phenomena as far as I know

School time: that period in the fall when a new year of school starts? yes, so it includes all academia, and perhaps a different time of year in other countries but I'm not sure when the academic year starts in Oz/NZ

Relevant when this does take place? see above Location? lots of places

True story? in that I read of it on the internet, then it must be true :P

Random thought: is this connected to the start of school or it's a different phenomenon that happens to take place in the same period?

What does Oz/NZ stand for?

Random thought: is this connected to the start of school or it's a different phenomenon that happens to take place in the same period? it can and does happen all year round but people have been talking about it as it's particularly prevelant at the start of the school year

What does Oz/NZ stand for? Australia, New Zealand

Don't want to move from one place to another? From rural to urban areas? From one town to another? Renting houses relevant? Campuses? Dormitories? Is it relevant that college starts also in the same period? Or only high schools will do?

Don't want to move from one place to another? apparently not From rural to urban areas? From one town to another? Renting houses relevant? Campuses? Dormitories? locations irrelevant or not specified Is it relevant that college starts also in the same period? Or only high schools will do? the start of any academic year is when it is most prevelant, type of institution irrelevant

Are these people teachers? not necessarily by any means - although I did note one instance when it was a teacher Other school administrators? not necessarily Do they not want to get out of bed? probably not, but not the answer to this puzzling phenomena

So, is their profession relevant? Students, maybe? Their social status? They apparently don't want to move because of: fatigue? lack of initiative?

I think that our 5 minute wonder tends to become a great puzzle

Binders! Hurrah! Now...what about binders? as I understand the word, the upper or lower case is irrelevant so Binders and binders count
Did they have penguins on them? (lol...yes, yes, penguins irrelevant...*sigh*) yes, binders decorated with penguins, sharks, flowers, whatever, all are included
Were they *insert LTPF list of colors*? Relevant? all colours included (or colors - no discrimation for non-u countries ;-)

forgive me for being unclear...I wasn't distinguishing "Binders" and "binders". I meant, "I wonder what is so important about binders..."

As for colors/colours...clearly I'm an American ;-) but I thank you for the non-discrimination lol

*********** SPOILER ***********

On another forum people have been talking about how they love stationary at this time of year. Yes, even a teacher wrote that. It's STATIONERY folks, unless indeed you're standing very very still with your notebooks

Well done!
