Is any particular part of this puzzle relevant? Not really will it only become apparent how relevant this puzzle is when it's solved? Just to make it clear: This puzzle is relevant to itself. But it is not a self-referencing puzzle. I generally feel that every puzzle is relevant to itself, since if not it's a pretty lame puzzle. But this puzzle isn't any more relevant to itself than most other puzzles are relevant to themselves. |

Creating a neologism? Possibly A neologistic puzzle? Possibly-ish Hint so we don't keep going on the wrong path: It yeshishly involves creating a lateral puzzle. The content of that puzzle is irrelevant. The above questions where I answered without an -ish will help you however. |

Telling lateral puzzles to people? No Is the form of the word farlar random, or does is contain a hint to its meaning? It's not random, but you won't get the answer by deducing the etymology. Does it mean to forget to do something that you usually do while posting lateral puzzles? Yope/Noish, but very close Or solving them? No, solving is irrelevant |

Thinking up a puzzle title? Thinking up a puzzle statement? Pre-formulating a puzzle statement? While still being in the puzzle-worthy situation? Pre-formulating answers to questions that puzzlers will probably ask? Forgetting how you had planned to answer a question and then doing it on the spot? And your answer turned out different from what you had planned? Because you forgot to write something? Because you wrote more than you had planned? Are bloopers relevant? Is writing your name before the puzzle title relevant? |

Possibly-ish Pre-formulating a puzzle statement? While still being in the puzzle-worthy situation? Possibly-ish Pre-formulating answers to questions that puzzlers will probably ask? Possibly-ish, though less likely Forgetting how you had planned to answer a question and then doing it on the spot? No And your answer turned out different from what you had planned? So no Because you forgot to write something? And no Because you wrote more than you had planned? Still no Are bloopers relevant? no to rest Is writing your name before the puzzle title relevant? Also note that some of the above questions contain an FA, but I would expect that at this point. |

I would but I'm totally lost =( Is there any chance of a recap? Here you go with a few minor hints thrown in there: Farlaring is forgetting something (which you need to determine) related to the LTPF. It yesishly involves creating puzzles. The content and type (i.e. neologism, versponse, etc.) of the puzzle which is YOPISHLY (in caps because distinguishing that from the previous yesish is very relevant) created is completely irrelevant. However, something else about the puzzle is relevant, and in fact will lead you to the definition. It could yopishly be taken to mean forgetting to do something which you usually do when posting lateral thinking puzzles, however this definition isn't that far off from the actual answer. Bloopers, writing your name before the puzzle title, and everything about formatting your post (including errors and forgetting to format it at all) are all irrelevant and are based on an FA. However, at this point in the puzzle I am not surprised by the FA, and in fact once you clear up the FA you may very well have $poyled the puzzle, and if you haven't, you will be pretty close to doing so. Hopefully that helps. |

No to both, same FA Hint: I'm not surprised that you're making the FA at this point. As I've said earlier, once you clear it up, you'll pretty much have this one $poyled. |

Does it pertain to posting or NOT posting a puzzle? (Perhaps why we are getting so many FAs? Because it is something that happens at the point of making the decision to post a puzzle, not the act of posting?) |

Does it pertain to posting or NOT posting a puzzle? It pertains to NOT posting a puzzle. GOOD QUESTION! (Perhaps why we are getting so many FAs? indeed Because it is something that happens at the point of making the decision to post a puzzle, not the act of posting? But this is incorrect. Hint: read over the earlier answers and it should be relatively easy. Or maybe that's just me. |

When you farlar, do you try to post a puzzle? Yope, DODY of "try" Do you get as far as: writing it? you mean when you go to post and you write it out? No Previewing? Error messages during posting relevant? So no to these Could you farlar if there was no preview function? yes Or if you didn't have to enter your user/password every time? Yes Can you farlar a regular post? <b> I suppose you could, but it's much less likely. As a hint, there are two scenarios in which you could potentially farlar a puzzle. (I suppose there may be more, but two likely ones). Under one scenario, you could also theoretically farlar for a regular post, although it is less likely. Under the other, you could not. </b< Or only a puzzle? |

Do you intend to post a puzzle? Do you think up a puzzle? Do you just forget to post it? Or do you forget a puzzle that you thought up? Do you forget a detail, making the puzzle not work? Can a farlared puzzle be posted later? Or does it involve not being posted at all? Is the rule allowing a maximum of 3 active puzzles at a time relevant? |

Do you intend to post a puzzle? see below Do you think up a puzzle? Do you just forget to post it? Or do you forget a puzzle that you thought up? YES!!!!!! WE HAVE A WINNER!!!!!!!! *****SPOILER******** To farlar is to forget a lateral puzzle you thought up in between when you think of it and when you actually have a chance to post it. This could either be because you are away from your computer or because you have three puzzles open and need one to be $poyled first. I had thought up a puzzle to post after one was $poyled, but I forgot it, so I posted this one instead. Good job everybody, and stay tuned for the next puzzle (which is pretty interesting) |
