A new animal, I've heard people say Is discovered, near every day There's a new one I've heard from a not so small bird That in a particular bit of Asia does stay. |

Are these animals large in their size? Or unseen by humans' own eyes? Are they real? Or fake? Do they live in a lake, Or on land, in the sea, or the sky? |

The body and tail are described in cm, So in inches, mentally, I can't see 'em, But the head and body, 55.5 in the male Are way smaller than tail Which at 78 cm dwarfs the rest of this being. Unseen by humans' eyes they were until recently Or at least, outside native habitat, you see I've no idea if these creatures' Intriguing facial features Were glimpsed by the humans under their trees. They're all real land creatures for sure Forest and high peaks, I think, furthermore For those of these type set Are generally arboreal and mountain, I bet And I don't see many mounts or trees on the shore. |

Once again, Balin, my friend, You're being obtuse again to no end (Of course I jest here Take no insult, my dear Matt), Asia is the continent, as I'd said. (OOC: Check the puzzle statement, silly Balin.) |

Yes, I noticed, but after the post; I know that was quite dumb, dear host. So this next set of lines Will have much better rhymes And less silliness at the most. Is the creature in the Orient? Or in Middle East might one be sent To search out this thing? Is its tail ringed? Is it furry? Or fuzzy? *silent* |

Oh, dear Balin, it is quite all right, I can honestly say you're a sight Better at solving my puzzles Be they 'ventures, versponses or 'muzzles Than most anyone else on this site. (In other words, don't sweat it, I still like you. :-D) Hmm...I am not sure it is Orient, we'll see But the Middle East it cannot be To search out this thing You must to the East be hastening To look in the Himalayas and trees. As for the condition of tail Whether it is ringed, or it's pale On wiki there's no Picture, and so, I cannot elaborate on that scale. Furry and fuzzy it is, Just so it's not been fruitless To be searching this way You've done quite well;no silence! please stay And see this puzzle out of this mess. |

Is this thing a bear? Has it four Feet? Maybe fewer? Or more? Might it be a monkey? Is it slim or chunky? Does it live in trees? My mind's sore. Side note: could you please boost my three Puzzles which are fading quickly? |

This thing, I fear, is not a bear, but four Feet it has, and there are no more. It is most definitely of monkey kind And if scientists are believed there are few to find. Slim or chunky, I do not know, Its size you have, and there you go. Trees in the Himalayas are its home, Though on the ground it will sometimes roam. I am very sorry for your sore mind Hopefully soon it will leave soreness behind. I shall do my best to boost The puzzles so they go home to roost. |

Does it have hands, or some paws sticky? Is it smart? Perhaps it smells icky? Does it live in communes? Can it jump to the moon? And may I use Google or Wiki? |

It has hands, I believe, as primate proud It is probably smart enough, of its smell I've no doubt Someone else, you see, Will know better than me Wiki and Google are allowed. It lives in groups, too, But most primates do Of moon-jumping, well It lives in trees, so tell Me if touching the sky it could do? |

With Google, where there is a stock Of info, this puzzle's a lock. So I will now post here The (maybe) answer clear - Is it "Arunachal macaque"? Is that even how "macaque" is pronounced? |

I might assume Google did not help much That's a pity; usually Google's touch Can be most helpful to us Or else put up a fuss And not give us enough to give final punch It is not a kind of macaque I've no clue of the pronunciation, alack But it is a monkey you see Which lives in Himalayan trees Why don't you try more questions, to puzzle crack? |

It's a new monkey species, we know: Is its color brown, black, grey, or gold, Or something else yet? (It's the latter, I'd bet.) Can it live to an age rather old? |

Mostly, the fur is black, though ear tufts are white; The face is all pink, no fur is in sight, 'Cept for a 'moustache', white, true, The perineum is, too, While upper legs and inner thighs are brown. Right? As for age, well, you see, I don't know It's a very new species, and so Of age estimation There's no information Tho' all over the Wiki I'd go. |

Far be it from me, as a British HAM, to get all dewy-eyed about cute wildlife, but honestly, I ask you ... What a splendid animal :-) |

I really should make some comment about that use of HAM right there just after your long puzzle-rant about acronyms...kind of ironic, ain't it? And no American describes that photo as splendid. Rather, they all bounce up and down squealing "CUUUUUUUTE!!" |
