King Arthur and the coconut horses? Coconut-laden swallows? (Or was it sparrows? I think swallows) Burning witches relevant? |

Hey, how about Spanish Kitteh? "ah mee mei goostahnn lahss ahmburrgeisas kohn keisoh!" The only problem is that the above example would be pronounced horribly wrong in Spanish, and examples that wouldn't be are too hard to come up with due to the general correspondence between Spanish written vowels and their phonemes. In layman's terms, in Spanish every vowel can generally only represent one sound (and AFAIK they don't distinguish between variants like "eh" vs. "ay" for "e"), as opposed to English in which the same sound is represented by ey, ay, ai, a, eigh, ei, etc. |

Relevant that they have the same last name? If they had different last names (for instance if one was married and had changed her name) would this work? What if one had just changed her last name for the fun of it? Like if Kaylee became Elizabeth Anne Sanlucretia? Would this work if they had a crazy mother who gave them both the same first name? (On a side note, didn't Michael Jackson name two of his sons Michael Jr. and Michael III?) |

"They" must be sad...my parents, because they named me? yes Does the same apply to Tortie being Tortie here, rather than Heather? yes, and that's the **********SPOILER********** I was thinking about how Elizabeth and Heather prefer to be called Kaylee and Tortie on the LTPF. The puzzle statement was a thought on what would happen if they wanted everybody to call them those names. I mean, how sad would you be if your daughters refused to use the names you yourself gave them? Odd how one of the relevant persons was the one to solve the puzzle. Congrats to Liz—I mean—Kaylee, and to everybody else who participated. Balin, you were close, and that is actually another bright idea that would be even sadder, but Kaylee got the solution I had in mind. *coughrulebreakercough* |

It's "Lizzie", actually...no one ever calls me "Liz", I hate it. But I prefer Kaylee, online. And Tortie is Tortie because she's not the only Heather I know, and so when I tell Mom "Heather said..." she'll ask "which Heather?" and I'll say "sibling" or "Tortie" and Mom will know. |

Lizzie is the only one who calls me "Tortie", I prefer Heather myself. The name came from an e-mail and my usernames which are sometimes tortielover or TortieKitten, which have to do with Tortoiseshell cats. I only call her Kaylee on websites because many people she knows online don't know her as Lizzie. |
