I don't know which one men think about, my guess is for first three Sexuality relevant? very slightly and may mislead Law? only that military invasion violates the law Technology? Medicine? Do men think that something constitutes an invasion, while women don't? it seems so, but there is much more to this |

As I will be off till Sunday evening, here goes the... RECAP: A situation, yet unknown, resulted in making the statement, that all men seem to consider marriage as invasion. You discovered the relevant elements as follows: - the statement considers men met by me in the situation - many women in Poland want to get married in September/October due to magic "R" and something connected with autumn - the Soviet invasion in Poland took place on September 17th and this is all what is relevant about it to the puzzle; - weather is relevant. No more searching and knowledge about Poland, invasion or wedding traditions is needed to solve the puzzle. So please tell me, what situation provoked the puzzle sentence? |

Is the projected weather on September 17 relevant? The weather during the Soviet invasion? Current weather in Poland? |

Is there some other event scheduled for Sept 17 this year? a sporting event? Is Sept 17 the only "nice" date for marriage this year? Do you expect a lot of wedding ceremonies taking place this day? in the same church? Will friends/relatives of you also marry on this date? (or his friend, his relatives?) Did your parents/ancestors marry on September 17? |

We wanted Sept 24 in fact, but we didn't like available hours on that day Do you expect a lot of wedding ceremonies taking place this day? in the same church? so no Will friends/relatives of you also marry on this date? the story is quite complete now. Me and my fiance wanted to marry in the second half of September and for many reasons, the most convenient date was Sept 17. This is also the date of Soviet invasion on Poland in 1939. But this coincidence isn't enough for me to generalize that: all men consider marriage as invasion. So what happened to make me state that ironic sentence? By the way, on Monday I met one and only one so far man not "thinking so". Guess what, he also got married on Sept 17 :-) |

So, the comment was made by more than one people... At the same event? Simultaneously? At different events? Relevant the number of people doing the comments? I assume by more than one, you mean different people, not the same person in different situations, correct? Was the comment identical in all situations? |

Balin: I'm circling the answer, aren't I? It seems so, you're asking about everything around... Would they rather not get married on an "invasion date"? only the coincidence of wedding date and invasion date is relevant HINT: The comments were always made when we announced wedding date to friends and family |

Was it something like: "We'll get married on Sept 17th!", to which all the males present said or agreed to a phrase like: "You'll get invaded, Sam!" (I'm using Sam instead of you fiance real name)? Something along these lines? |

Balin: Did they make the connection to the actual invasion? YES Rbruma: Was it something like: "We'll get married on Sept 17th!", to which all the males present said or agreed to a phrase like: "You'll get invaded, Sam!" (I'm using Sam instead of you fiance real name)? YES! Something along these lines? ******SPOILER****** My fiance and me are going to get married on Sept 17. Due to weather and family reasons we wanted the second part of September, but we didn't like available hours on Sept 24. As soon as we went out of the church (from fixing the date visit), my fiance said "Significant date for marriage, isn't it?" Then I realized the coincidence of our wedding date with anniversary of Soviet invasion in Poland. When we announced the date to my family, my father's and my brother's first words were: "Meaningful date for marriage, no more freedom". And till today, when we announce the date to a woman, she refers to beautiful September weather - but every single man notices first the date coincidence. Thanks to everybody who played, especially Balin and Rbruma for the solve. |
