I'm sure many of you know of the puzzle where you have to figure out what the following symbol means: -=+ As we all know, it means "less is more." (If you didn't know it before, you know it now.) But I've got a symbol for you: -=- What is this symbol? |

What the hey, you're close enough. **********SPOILER********** When writing walkthroughs, I use a hyphen at the beginning of each line to set apart the steps in the walkthrough (the hyphens act as bullet points). However, there are times when I need to indent a step, either to show substeps, an alternate action, a warning, or something else. In order to indent a step, I use -=-, because if you try to use multiple hyphens, it auto-formats to one and so does not indent (I found this out the hard way). Nice job everyone. |
