Artistic yes/ musical / writer Banking / financial / real estate Clerical / Administrative Computer related / Hardware Construction / Craftsman Criminal / Questionable Repute Education / Academic Research Entertainment yes/ Media Environmental / Outdoors / Nature Executive / Management Hospitality / Travel Legal Services Manufacturing / Distributions Medical / Health Services Politics / Government / Military yope Sales / Marketing Technical / Science / Engineering Teaching yesish/ Child care Transportation Food Service Other religion is also yope, which should probably be added to that list when I get a minute I think there was a better go-to list at some point, but I couldn't find it immediately in a search. |

Was she part of the audience? Was she selected by the other guys? yes to both Can you please recap? absolutely not... well, okay, if you insist... A young girl was at a show (apparently it is sometimes called an 'experience'), and was chosen to participate in it. The actors in the show trained her in something. Religion/philosophy, military, and sports are involved here (more military/sports than religion/philosophy, in this case, though). After she was trained, she was asked to make a decision/obey an order. If she obeyed the order, she or another person would yopishly be in danger. She made the "wrong" decision, and my thought was that maybe she was smarter than they gave her credit for. Shez was anyone involved wearing a monkey suit? no HINT 1: This 'experience' only happens at two locations, both within the US. HINT 2: The other person who could yopishly have been in danger if she obeyed the order was another actor. HINT 3: What she was being trained in/as has a specific name. She would not have been chosen if she were an adult. |

I can ask questions..but they are going to be leading....Should I? well, it appears nobody else wanted to join in, so I guess you should :-) Is it relevant who gave the order? yes Was he very tall and dressed in all black? actually no, but since we both know what you're talking about... ********SPOILER******** There is a viral video that was filmed in February 2011 that illustrates the joys of audience participation. At Disneyland, there is a "Jedi Training Academy" show/'experience' where young children are chosen to come up and are given Jedi robes and learn to use the Force, etc. Once they learn some moves, Darth Vader and Darth Maul come out to challenge them. A girl is brought to the stage (so that they can use the recording from the movie, "If you will not turn to the Dark Side, perhaps SHE will"), at which point the Jedi instructor tells her to fight Vader. Enter Sariah Gallego. In the video, the instructor tells her to fight, and she just stands there. She turns and apparently talks to the Jedi, who says in a surprised voice something along the lines of "Oh, you want to join him?" At which point it becomes even more epic, as she turns back to Vader and kneels to her new master. Amused, but probably slightly confused, the Jedi gets her back to her feet and points her in the direction of the Sith Academy (off stage). So, she made the wrong decision according to what Disneyland wanted her to do, but in my opinion, she might have been smarter than they gave her credit for... If I were a ~9 year old girl and you taught me a couple of moves and then expected me to defeat a guy with inordinately great strength who killed who knows how many people over the course of the movies, I'd think twice myself. (Of course, it turns out she really does like the Sith, as people found out through interviews with her after the video went viral...) |
