True story? yes FYOI? FSEI? was the defect a disability?Yes/yessish was it treatable? Treatable in an older child or an adult, but not in a baby. Was the defect easily hidden? "hidden" n.r., but it was not easily visible. Did Lisa hide it if it was? Was she embarrassed about it? No to both; she wasn't old enough to be embarassed. Did her parents constantly worry about it? Of course - they're parents! But the doctors assured them that there was nothing to worry about. Did the defect go away when she grew up? She is not grown up yet, but it has gone away. Or was she really normal all along, even with the defect? No, not misdiagnosed. When there, was the defect clearly visible to everyone? NO Was the defect diagnosed? Yes | ||

Was it by the actions of her who caused it to go away? Or the actions of others? Did it go away naturally? Naturally It it normal for this kind of defect to go away?Apparently, yes. Is this kind of defect rare? I had never heard of it, but apparently it's not so rare that small-town doctors didn't know about it. Not especially common, though - or I hope not. | ||

did this defect affect (heh, defect, affect, that rhymes) all her bones? Or was it specific to a certain area? Skull? (first 8 paired, last 5 unpaired) - nasal concha? - lacrimal? - maxilla? - nasal? - palatine? - parietal? - temporal? - zygomatic? - ethmoid? - frontal? - occipital? - sphenoid? - vomer? Ossicles of each ear: - incus? - malleus? - stapes? Lower jaw: - mandible? Neck: - hyoid? Vertebreal column: - cervical vertebrae? - thoracic vertebrae? - lumbar vertebrae? - sacrum? - coccyx? Chest: Sternum? Ribs? (ok, I'll elaborate if any of these are right, lol...the list of bones is getting too long) Shoulder? Upper arm? Lower arm? Wrist? Hand? Fingers? Pelvis? Thigh? Knee? Leg? Ankle? Foot? Toes? | ||

scapula? clavicle?This humerus? ************SPOILER************** lisa was a big baby - over 9 pounds - and in the process of being born, her collarbone was broken. The doctors told her parents that at her young age, her bones would knit pretty fast. Although she favored her left side for a while, within a few months this proved to be the case. Dr. Kaylee gets a cheezburgr with a side of strained peas. (Yumm!) | ||
