Can anyone experience this? Is it embarrassing only for the mamonoer? For those watching? Does mamonoing only involve one person? Can it involve more than one? |

The famous scene with Marylin Monroe relevant? (with her skirt blowing up in the air) very! Oh, "mamono," that makes sense -- "Marilyn Monroe." "mamo" does indeed stand for Marilyn Monroe, but "mo" (and not "no") stands for something else, see below (: Thanks to Rbruma's good question and Balin's idea it's time for the ********SPOILER******** A mamomo is a Marilyn Monroe moment. It refers to a situation in which air coming from a subway grating or something like that blows your skirt up. I had a mamomo a few weeks ago, and I can tell you that I definitely did not look like Marilyn, but like a complete fool who is laughed at. *turns red* The title is an allusion to the film "The Seven Year Itch" that contains the famous scene. |

Oops, I just noticed I missed Soli's questions, my apologies! Does it have anything to do with Sunday? more likely to happen on sunday? more embarassing when it happens on Sunday? I'd say it depends on whether skirts are part of your sundays suits or your everyday clothes (; I just called it a Sunday afternoon neologism because it was Sunday afternoon when I posted it (: |
