It's a good thing I don't chorbel too often, because it is generally embarassing and always unprofessional.
But usually people understand and will help me.

Is chorbeling related to work?
If so, can you chorbel outside your workplace, too?

Is it something you do with your body?
With an item?
With an electronic device?
With another person?

Any kind of communication with colleagues relevant?
Communicating with costumers?
Writing something?
Taking breaks?
Asking questions?
Borrowing things?
Forgetting things?

Appearance relevant?
Dresscode relevant?

Do you make some noise with your body (other than talking) that the customer hears over the phone? like blowing your nose? or yawning?

Or is there something that prevents you from receiving (or making) a call in the first place? or disconnects you unexpectedly?

Not being able to hear or understand what the other person says?
Because you're lost in your own thoughts?
Or because you're listening to somebody else?
Or listening to something else?
Or doing something noisy while phoning, such as typing?
Or skimming through documents?

hiccups? no in the middle of laughing at something? This is close enough for a

SPOILER
Chorbeling is a rare event, because it depends on several things taking place: a)someone doing or saying something funny just as I b)pick up the phone and am c)caught in a fit of silent laughter so that I cannot speak. Fortunately, a co-worker will take pity on me and the phone away from me before it goes too far!
So, chortle + Bell (telephone) = chorbel = to be unable to answer the phone because of laughing.

I coined another neologism the other day. I won't make a puzzle of it because it would be too difficult to guess, but will share it.
I was coming out of a convenience store when a newspaper headline caught my eye. The paper was upside down (to me) on the other side of the glass wall. In order to read it, I had to stop still, tilt my head, and twist my body around. I did not realize how this must have looked until someone came up and said "Ma'am? Are you all right?" Only then did it dawn on me that I must have looked like I had a sudden, severe pain.

So: spurony: spurious + agony = to unintentionally give the impression of being in pain.

Hope this didn't give you too much pain, and congrats, Shez!
