One man's overzealousness at his job ruined another man's plan. It all worked out, though. |

Did the plan count on the first man not being overzealous? Did the plan include tricking him? Slipping something by him? Fraud relevant? Some other crime? Is the second man's profession relevant? It all worked out = the second man got the result he desired? |

Was the first man overzealous because: he did more than expected? he did something quicker than expected? he did something smarter/more innovative way than expected? Did the overzealousness have a positive outcome at first man's work? Did both men work together? Did they meet at all? |

The box: Did it resemble a bomb (or other explosive device)? Did it resemble a weapons case or something else which would be illegal on a flight? Did it contain anything? Assuming yes, were the contents innocuous? relevant to the puzzle? Did it contain a gift for someone? Smaller than a breadbox? (I ask this only because it's a standard question, I actually don't know what a breadbox is. Was it a breadbox in the suitcase?) |

was it supposed to be a surprise? ooh - was someone with him (Zeb)? was it an engagement ring? BINGO! **********SPOILER********** From March 2008: "A Prince George man's plans for a romantic proposal on a Caribbean cruise turned into a impromptu airport proposal after a security guard discovered the engagement ring hidden in a sock in his carry-on bag. Airport screening officer Adam Buhler said when he realized what was hidden in the socks he tried to put the ring box back in its hiding place, but groom-to-be Aaron Tkachuk figured the cat was already out of the bag and proposed to his longtime girlfriend on the spot." Fortunately, she said yes. Nice work everyone. |
