The South = the former Confederate States of America? South America? Southern Hemisphere? "Lots of planets have a South"? Ok, technically the Doctor Who quote is "Lots of planets have a North", I *think*, but since you said South... |

The South = the former Confederate States of America? In this case, yes, but could be anywhere in the sun belt. South America? Southern Hemisphere? no "Lots of planets have a South"? Ok, technically the Doctor Who quote is "Lots of planets have a North", I *think*, but since you said South... It's on planet earth. Is she wearing something relevant? yes or yessish e.g. a sporting team's logo on a cap or jersey but not anything like this Is food relevant? No Is it relevant where this occurred? In the northern part of the US, specifically in Niagara Falls, NY. That may or may not help. |

Was she dressed like one going to the South Pole, even though it was summer in NY? Did she said something relevant? Among the others who were dressed in T-shirts (let's say), was she wearing a heavy costume and still pretending that it is too cold? Is this a true story? The attempts at going over the Niagara falls relevant? Relevant when (over the course of the year) this happened? (i.e., in spring/summer/fall/winter)? Are there any other persons relevant? Did she do a blatant mistake (in the eyes of the persons present)? |

I didn't know either, until Andy suggested it. No, not one of them. Like a hat and a scarf...must be ear muffs? yes! Or those wide headbands that cover the ears? So why was she wearing earmuffs in the summertime? It wasn't *just* because she was feeling cold. |

Summer and winter in the Southern and Northern hemispheres are reversed. Did she think this applied to the Northern and Southern US? No. She is not a blonde, and not dumb. There is a very good and logical reason for her to wear earmuffs, and it has to do with where she is. |

Can you answer mine? Oops, overlooked them somehow! Would anyone else there benefit from earmuffs? Some of them might. Is the weather relevant (except that it's too hot to warrant earmuffs)? Microclimate might be relevant. Are she protecting her ears?YES If so:from cold? Wind?Partly this; no or n.r. to the rest. Dust? Insects? Noise? Sun? Did she have them pierced recently? Or is there something wrong with them? Yessish; she gets earaches easily. Close enough for a ************SPOILER*************** She is subject to frequent earaches, and knew that the wind and spray at the falls would most likely trigger one. Everyone else must have thought she was just a hothouse flower! Nice job, Galfisk. As I said before, you really know what winter is! Sorry for missing your post. |
