I still ponder about your hint to find out more about the actual crime. But not much seems to be relevant. Is there only one victim? Is the victim (or are the victims) assaulted, raped and killed all together? Or is the actual crime simply not that relevant? Did the victim look as if it could have eaten sushi? (I am thinking in the direction of "looking poisoned as if having eaten the wrong parts of a globe fish" or similar conclusions.) | ||

OK, I am a bit confused, because you answered "Possibly" to the earlier questions, if he had murdered / raped someone. Hmmm, let's see... Did Urre murder people at some time? Did he assault someone else and went to jail because of that victim? Did he try to kill that person? Did Urre know that the victim never ate sushi, when he performed the deed? Is there one special deed, because of which he was punished? More? Urre's statement about the victim eating sushi was... - in the future? Thanks for the hint. I am really a bit out of ideas. Did Urre kidnap Veggie? Is/was Veggie physically trapped? Emotionally? Did Urre know Veggie personally before the events of this puzzle? Or was it rather a passer-by in the wrong time? Something in between, like "seen him somewhere"? Is Veggie allergic to sushi or some of it's ingredients? Did Veggie or someone from his surrounding call the police? Urre? Or did the police just track him due to some evidence? Is the story settled in Europe? Asia? Afrika? The Americas? If yes, could it be placed somewhere else? | ||

This is close enough that I'm going to declare a ********** SPOILER ************* Veggie is a detective investigating a recent murder or rape. Urre seemed like a cooperative & helpful witness, so much so that the police were using his assistance. Then Veggie unearthed some evidence that showed Urre was the killer. So Urre tied him up & was about to escape when Veggie's partner called Urre & asked to speak with Veggie, who wasn't answering his cell phone & who the partner thought was with Urre. Urre said, "Oh, he went out to eat at a suchi bar." Knowing this would not happen, the partner realized that Urre was lying. OK, maybe I jumped the gun a bit by $poiling at this point, but now I can post my new puzzle!! Please check it out!! |
