Some days ago, that's what I thought:
"Why would I hide what I just bought?"

Your questions, they don't have to rhyme
but I hope they'll be sublime! (:

Did you buy a Christmas present?
Maybe a cheeseburger for a feline, or you or me?

And now for those who don't speak kitteh
there was no present bought by me.

Well, did you hide what you had bought?
Had others for that item sought?
And did you buy it for another,
Friend or neighbor, sis or brother?

No, I did not hide a thing -
not in winter, not in spring
(To ask you have a reason -
not in any other season.

And I guess I have to say
that there might be an FA
because I wrote "the thing I bought"
which is not quite the rightest thought.

Was the thing : physical? just a thought?
And in the end -- did you bought that?
Did you hide it from your friends?
From you foes? (insert a rhyme here)

Poor Shakespeare. There's a reason why he wrote poetry and I'm doing contracts :-)

Would you have the hiding done
To keep it out of the eye of someone,
For (s)he couldn't use it while you slept
As you wanted it for yourself be kept?
Or would you keep it out of eyes
Not to $poyle someone's surprise?
Or maybe the thing is so confusing
For noone knows that you're buying it and using?

It was physical and not a thought
but there was nothing that I bought.
And so there was no need to hide
it from my friends or from my bride
(I'm not a Shakespeare either)

I'm sorry I have to tell you so
but all of them are straight a no.

And to give a little hint
there's more than one thing relevint

Do other men or women too
Something in this puzzle have to do?
Was the object or even more
Bought by someone we should't ignore?
And if even one of these assumptions is true,
Was the one to seek the object(s) you?

So were they multiple things?
Were they (ummm, thinking) .. let's say " objects powered electrically" .. or just kings?
Did you hide them out of shame?
Or are more people to blame?

Geez, I thing the questioning is harder than the solution :-)

When in fact you didn't?
Did someone think that you had something

Do other men or women too
Something in this puzzle have to do?
Yes, there are some more indeed
and I hope this won't mislead

Was the object or even more
Bought by someone we should't ignore?
If the objects were bought or not -
bout this I don't know a lot

And if even one of these assumptions is true,
Was the one to seek the object(s) you?
No, they were not sought by me
The only thing I did was see.

So were they multiple things?
Were they (ummm, thinking) .. let's say " objects powered electrically" .. or just kings?
Yes, there were things more than one
but electrical was none.
Which is relevant somewhat -
maybe give it a second thought?

Did you hide them out of shame?
Or are more people to blame?
No, shame is not at all involved.
Your other question was just solved:
Other people do play a role,
finding out bout them is your goal.

Did someone think you had bought it
When in fact you didn't?
No, there was no assumption made
if I had for some objects paid.

Did someone think that you had something
you had perhaps hidden?
Same answer as the one above -
I hope you do this puzzle love (:

Did someone some object bought?
More than a person (just a thought)?
Are gifts relevant at all?
(Because the Christmas' coming
That would not be that surprising)
At the time, were you'n a mall?
When you witnessed it, as I recall?

Where they thieves, by any chance?
Two young people, in romance?

I'm sure there were some objects sold
(for some euros, not for gold)

Are gifts relevant at all?

Maybe as presents they were bought
but that's not an important thought.

At the time, were you'n a mall?
When you witnessed it, as I recall?
No, a mall is not where I was
however, you are somewhat close

Is there any English speaking country in the world where "was" and "close" rhyme? I doubt it.

Where they thieves, by any chance?
Two young people, in romance?
I'm afraid, that's twice a no -
next round of questions, here we go!

A sign is what I saw indeed
with something on it you can read.
However, there is more to it,
I hope you get the lastest bit.

Okay, let's see, this sign that you read,
"hide this object" quite literally it said?
Or did you misunderstand what it meant?
Or maybe on purpose its meaning you bent?

Or is the secret in this game
that there is something about the name?
Like for instance, if I may be so free,
that the object was called something like a "Haydmee"?

I remember that I once a fake stone did see,
inside of which you cold hide your key
out in your garden, and nobody'd know -
I don't suppose this is anything like that, though?

Yes, I misunderstood it indeed

I started on purpose to its meaning to bent.

Was "Hide this object" only a part
of the message, the point to start?
Was the other part under something covered
And therefore by you not discovered?
Would the whole phrase, if that's the case
say: "keep out of reach of children, in safe place"?

That's another clever thought,
but unfortunately the answer is not

There might be a BLOOPER slight:
On the sign there was marked "hide".

To solve this puzzle properly
some basic French might turn out to be
of a certain help, you see.

Sure thing that I will do
a recap just for you (:

I'll do it on prose, hope you don't mind.
Some weeks ago, I was in a place yet to be determined where things (yet to be determined) are sold. There was a sign that read "Cacher", which is French for "hide", and I thought "Why would I hide what I just bought?" until I realised that there was a mistake on the sign.

Was writ on the sign that was hung?
French is the language of the sign
but your French skills don't have to be fine
to solve this puzzle. Just keep in mind
"cacher" is what on the sign you find.

Was the product a food?
A container imbued
With other small items? (Um...slung?)
Yes, food the products were indeed
but remember, product s is what you read!
There might be some containers too
with items in there more than two.

Or warm it's usually sold?
Was the food meant to be prepared
Or to eat it just exactly there?
And I will ask, as would Kaylee
If a cheeseburger it could be?
If "s" in "products" is an important switch,
Please answer for the product each.
And one last question by the way,
Is "Cashier" what the sign should say?

Is food in question eaten cold?
Or warm it's usually sold?
At the time the things are sold
they're never warm but always cold.
Some of them are cold when you eat,
others you will have to heat.

Was the food meant to be prepared
Or to eat it just exactly there?
You'll usually take home the food,
eating it right there wouldn't be that good.

And I will ask, as would Kaylee
If a cheeseburger it could be?
No, a cheezburger it is not
(and they're usually eaten hot.)

If "s" in "products" is an important switch,
Please answer for the product each.
I can't be oh so specific
cause the number of products is terrific!

And one last question by the way,
Is "Cashier" what the sign should say?
Although this is a nice idea
it's not the right one, unfortunately.

And for the third time, sorry for my long absence. Busy weeks!!

Was that word of the humble fame
Simply just a products' or brand's name?

Yes, the products came in packs
but that's not all that was on the racks.
And no, it's not the product's name
that is the key to the lateral game

Did you, yourself, the item buy
And take it home to test and try?

No, I did not buy the thing
and to my cozy place it bring.

A new RECAP (in prose):

I was at a supermarkt. There was a shelf with lots of different products, all of which were pre-packaged. On both some of the food containers and on the shelf itself it said "cacher", which is the French word for "to hide". I thought "Why would I hide what I just bought?" until I realised there was a mistake on the sign.

Did those who put there the food
have in mind "le cacherout"?
Kosher bread and kosher jam,
maybe even kosher ham?

Was "cacher" only part of the word that was writ--
The entirety not, but just rather a bit?
No, cacher was the word complete
that on the shelf you could well read

Almost! Here's the reward for your toil -
it now is about time to spoil!

********SPOILER********
(in prose, since I'm a bit lazy)

I was at a supermarket where they had a shelf labeled "produits cacher" which literally translates to "products hide", so of course I was wondering why they would tell people to hide their groceries, or why anyone would want to do that in the first place.

Upon closer inspection, the products turned out to be kosher, which in French is "casher", not "cacher", and it made sense again.

Nice work, my poetically inclined friends! Don't forget to have a look at my two other puzzles, and there might be a new Doriana puzzle later today as well.}
