True story? FYOI? FSEI? A joke?

If true or FYOI, is the H/A/M you? Relevant?
Does anyone die in this one? If so, grisly scene? Darwin Awards?
Circus midgets relevant?
Cannibalism relevant?
Intricate murder with unfortunate oversight relevant?
Covering some LTPF basics, you know. Any other relevant people? Any relevant animals (besides the beef)? Relevant that it's beef? Could this work with sausage? with fried chicken? with bacon?

Are the famous ones entertainers? politicians? European? US-ian? From elsewhere?

I do not mean to imply that Europe and the US are the only meaningful places in the world, just that most of the LTPF puzzles are associated with one of those two areas.

Talking of jokes and politics I was very impressed with Obama's speech at that press dinner. The man actually shows genuine comic timing . I thought he was hilarious . Nice to see a world leader acting like a regular guy for a change. The Mitt Romney dog advert was classic.
