I have experienced pab. You can only experience pab for a certain amount of time, which varies from person to person. It’s entirely possible to never experience pab at all! Experiencing bap is much more common, I’m sure. So, what do pab and bap mean? |

Are pab and bap opposites? Is there a limited amount of time anyone can experience bap, too? Is it possible to experience both pab and bap at the same time? Are pab and bap sensory experiences (like hearing the wind in the trees, seeing the ocean, etc.)? If they are not themselves, are they begun or ended by such experiences? or are they completely abstract states of being (such as being able to remember a piece of information)? |

Are pab and bap opposites? Not totally, but there is one element that is opposite. Is there a limited amount of time anyone can experience bap, too? Yes, but that's misleading. And it is possible to not experience bap at all, but that's uncommon. EXTREMELY uncommon. Is it possible to experience both pab and bap at the same time? No. Are pab and bap sensory experiences (like hearing the wind in the trees, seeing the ocean, etc.)? If they are not themselves, are they begun or ended by such experiences? or are they completely abstract states of being (such as being able to remember a piece of information)? This, I suppose. |

Is the misleading factor here that the length of experiencing bap is limited by one's lifetime (in that case, it isn't really limited, is it?) Or is it that bap is merely the absence of something, and therefore the real question is how long someone does NOT experience it? Can one do anything to control the length of pab or bap? Are any objects involved (in the experiences)? Does it relate to where one lives? one's career? marital or family status? possession of something? |

So it's related to marital or family status, but is more likely to be experienced by children than adults? Then obviously it isn't the marital status of the one experiencing pab, so does it have to do with whether the child's parents ever get divorced? whether they were married in the first place? or is the marriage part irrelevant? but it has to do with when the child moves out of his parents' house? or when a sibling is born? |

So it's related to marital or family status, but is more likely to be experienced by children than adults? Yes, saying it was related to that may have been misleading. Then obviously it isn't the marital status of the one experiencing pab, so does it have to do with whether the child's parents ever get divorced? whether they were married in the first place? or is the marriage part irrelevant? but it has to do with when the child moves out of his parents' house? or when a sibling is born? No to all, you may want to check your assumptions... |

I have to say, it's really confusing to keep bap and pap straight in this puzzle! Hey pepper, if someone experience pab, does it happen only once in their lifetime? Or could it happen more than once? Is someone always experiencing bap or bap? Or is it possible that they can be somewhere in between? Is it possible that someone can be experiencing neither bap nor pab at a given time? |

I have to say, it's really confusing to keep bap and pab straight in this puzzle! Sorry, I came up with pab first, then reversed it to make bap. Hey pepper, if someone experiences pab, does it happen only once in their lifetime? Or could it happen more than once? More than once. Is someone always experiencing bap or bap? No Or is it possible that they can be somewhere in between? Yesish, see next question. Is it possible that someone can be experiencing neither bap nor pab at a given time? Yes! That was the 'ish' from last question. |

HINT: To experience pab or bap, you need at least three other people: a friend, and two others. Find out the identity of the two others and you'll be well on your way. No posts in 96 hours and I'll $poil. |

So do you need to be on a double date to experience pab? Is it something to do with getting on better with your partner's date than your own? |

Do you have to be with your friend and your dates to experience pab? Can you experience it alone as long as you have a date and a friend with a date? Does it happen in a particular situation? If so, when you are paying for something? Talking about something? Eating? Drinking? In a particular place? |

Do you have to be with your friend and your dates to experience pab? No. Can you experience it alone as long as you have a date and a friend with a date? Yes!! This is so close to bap's meaning that I'm going to give it to you: SPO____ Bap is when you are dating, and a friend of yours has also dated. After this, pab should be fairly easy. Does it happen in a particular situation? Yes, possible slight ish. If so, when you are paying for something? Talking about something? Eating? Drinking? In a particular place? None of these. |

Does pab involve never having dated? And Balin swoops in for the full ***************SPOILER*************** If a friend, younger than you, is dating, while you have never dated, you are experiencing pab. If you have dated before, then it's bap. The words were inspired by a friend of mine, whose initials are BVB, a palindrome. So, pa from palidrone plus b from the initials, is pab. I reversed it to get bap. And 559 is the friend's house number. Excellent job with the solve, Balin! Jane went most of the way (and I'm sure she would have solved it had she been on before) and gets a shiny gold star! |

Wow, how nice for you to be young! Enjoy it while it lasts. hehe at my age, relative ages don't really matter any more - I have no problem with dating women a few years older than me. Anyway, good luck with dating (if that's your current situation) and have fun with it! |
