Did the judge hit his head when he fell? did he suffer a hemhorrage? (no idea how to spell this!) Was anyone else involved in the judges death? Did he die while doing something? attempting something? was he ill? Did he choke to death? Because Patrick survived the hanging, would it not have been possible to attempt to hang him again? |

Judge sentences Patrick to be hanged, Patrick is hanged but is cut down before he's fully dead, and when he starts moving again the onlookers flee in terror, knocking down the judge and crushing him underfoot? Did they think he was undead? or possessed by the devil? |

Judge sentences Patrick to be hanged, Patrick is hanged but is cut down before he's fully dead,Yes. and when he starts moving again the onlookers flee in terrorNoish., knocking down the judge and crushing him underfoot? Yes. Did they think he was undead? or possessed by the devil? Either one. Close enough for a **************SPOILER True story, apparently. Patrick Redman, an Irish boxer was sentenced to death, but after nine minutes of hanging without his death they decided he'd been punished enough. So he gets off, and that afternoon he goes into a theatre. Thinking he is a ghost, people start to flee in panic and a man is trampled to death, the very judge that sentenced him. And the stangest part? (Cheesy organ music) They were brothers! |
