when he 'sees' the Great Wall of China, is this as a result of light bouncing off some physical object called 'the Great Wall of China' and subsequently reaching his retina?

Is he in Chicago? North Illinois? South Illinois?

Does he see something which he construes to be "The Great Wall of China", although he really knows it isn't? (... in the way that someone might look at the stars and see The Great Bear, even though they know it isn't a bear; or might look at an inkblot and see a giraffe dancing with a spider)?
