Why do twenty well-behaved middle-class boys suddenly shave their heads completely bald? |

Because being bald is really cool? So they would be more aerodynamic? Was it voluntary on their part? Were they all doing it for the same reason? Were they aquainted with each other? Did they all know the others were doing it as well? Were they acting in concert? Was the intent/purpose to have a bald head? If so, for aesthetic reasons? Practical reasons? Relevant what they did with the hair they removed? |

Is there any relevant connection between the twenty boys? relevant that they were boys? Could girls have done it for the same reason? men? women? a mixture? Could working-class boys have chosen to do this for the same reason? badly-behaved middle class boys? upper class boys? |

Did they join an army? Were they imprisoned (in spite of their good behaviour)? Were they trying to raise money for charity? |

Do the boys have lice? Some other condition? Were they being sponsored for cancer research? Had a hair colouring or perming experiment gone horribly wrong? |

Supporting a friend undergoing chemo? related to sports? some sort of bonding thing with a sports team? fraternities involved? |

************ SPOILER ************** Jennifer got it. You guys are just so hot. There were 21 boys in the class at school. One of them was diagnosed with cancer and underwent chemotherapy treatment. He lost all his hair. His classmates had their heads shaved as a sign of solidarity and sympathy. Well done |
