Does the cat sleep on the treadmill or other exercise machine? |

Does the cat sleep on some item Vrinda would have used otherwise? or block the access to some item? block a door? block a drawer? Do we have to find out why Vrinda did not wake up/move the cat? Does the cat have some bad habit when awake, so Vrinda prefers to let it sleep? Would the cat get angry and aggressive when waked up? Has the cat already taken rule in the house, and Vrinda does not dare to disturb him? |

Yeah, does that cat sleep near a treadmill or perhaps near one of those bikes that has a fan attached to it (or any other noisy excersise equipment)? Does the cat sleep near some relevant non-excersise related piece of equipment? |

Before getting the cat, was she cooking her own food? was someone else cooking it? was she ordering it in? was she eating out? After getting the cat, was she cooking her own food? was someone else cooking it? was she ordering it in? was she eating out? |

Ok... gotten multiple answers here... Does the cat sleep... ON the relelvant thing? IN FRONT of the relevant thing? TO THE SIDE of the relevant thing? UNDER the relevant thing? NEAR the relevant thing? Is it a 'thing'? An object? Is it squishy? Is the cat squishy? And cuddly? If this thing were used ANYWHERE in the house, would it disturb the cat? What if the cat was in a room by itself with the door shut when it's used? If she used it with the cat nearby would the cat be disturbed? Is it a small trampoline? |

sooo.. she gains weight because she eats more fattening foods? and she possibly takes less exercise? and it's due to the fact that the cat sleeps in the way of something? the cat stops her going somewhere? does she gain weight because she does not realise, for some reason, that she is getting fatter? is she normally someone who has to watch her weight closely to maintain it? and somehow, by sleeping where it does, the act makes it harder for her to watch her weight? does it block her view of something? the TV? a mirror? Is there just one spot that the cat could lie in to get this effect? does the cat somehow make her forget something, by lying where it does? does it make her think she is thinner than she is? is eating less than she actually does? does it make her feel happier about being the weight she is? does the cat sleep infront of a cupboard, or some other space? which contains a relevant item? does she have to change the way she cooks things? does she end up buying more fattening food? if so, is it intended for herself? is any other person relevant here? |

Does she get to the scales by stepping over the cat? or by walking around the cat? Does the cat obscure her view of the reading? YES!!!!!! ********* SPOILER **** When you buy a bathroom scale, you may or masy not notice the instruction that tells you to place it on a LEVEL SURFACE. Vrinda didn't notice. So when her cat started sleeping in fromt of the scale, she moved the scale...to a gently sloping area that gave vher a slightly innaccurate reading & made her think she weighed 5 pounds less than she did, which made her feel entitled to eat more, with guess what result. Thanks for stcking with it, everyone & for solvoing it, Wunderland, & guess what awakits you at the bottom of the page... ------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
