Lilac committed suicide & made it look like murder. She wasn't trying to avoid religious sanctions against suicide, nor was there any particular person she wanted to frame for murder. How come?? |

Was it accidental that her actions made it look like murder? Or intentional? Anyone else relevant? Was she trying to avoid making someone feel they had driven her to suicide? Did she want people to not think badly of her? Was she under suspicion for something else? That suicide would make her look guilty for? Are her reasons for killing herself relevant? Method? Was someone charged for her murder? relevant? |

While there was not a particular person she wanted to frame, did she want someone to be accused? |

Was the person charged a relative? Someone in the immediate family? A neighbour? A friend? A co-worker? Did she use: poison? a gun? a rope? a knife? water? glass? acid? drugs? metal? a motor vehicle? And if not those, a man made object? a naturally occuring object? |

Rephrasing Bodo's question: did Lilac know that the person who would be charged with her murder would be charged? Was this her intent? Is the person who was charged with Lilac's murder male? female? Can he/she have a name? Is (or was) Lilac human? Is her age relevant? her nationality? her profession? her religion? Does (or could) this take place in modern times? Is it relevant in which country it takes place? |

Was anybody even charged with her murder? Did she want to wind up on television? And she thought the best way to do it was to wind up on "Unsolved Murders"? |

She wanted someone in particular to be charged with her murder but not a specific individual known to her? Was it a person in a particular position/job? With a particular title? In other words, it wasn't that she wanted Blake to be charged per se but that she wanted the person holding Blake's position (who happened to be Blake) to be charged? |

I think it was found that she wanted the person charged to be charged, and she knew the person, or of the person. Does it not matter how old she it? Did she over take a pill? Dosage? Did she take it, but it was the pill itself that killed her? something like that? |

Ok, spoiling as requested In the movie "The Life of David Gale", a dying woman committed suicide as part of an elaborate scheme to prove that innocent people are sometimes convicted of murder and executed. IIRC the guy she framed (David Gale, I guess) was in on the plot too. |
