Lilac committed suicide & made it look like murder. She wasn't trying to avoid religious sanctions against suicide, nor was there any particular person she wanted to frame for murder. How come?? | ||

Was it accidental that her actions made it look like murder? Or intentional? Anyone else relevant? Was she trying to avoid making someone feel they had driven her to suicide? Did she want people to not think badly of her? Was she under suspicion for something else? That suicide would make her look guilty for? Are her reasons for killing herself relevant? Method? Was someone charged for her murder? relevant? | ||

Ok, spoiling as requested In the movie "The Life of David Gale", a dying woman committed suicide as part of an elaborate scheme to prove that innocent people are sometimes convicted of murder and executed. IIRC the guy she framed (David Gale, I guess) was in on the plot too. | ||
